This weekend some of our members will be taking on the Everest Challenge.

Every month at UPC we like to put on something a little different for members. Not because you need extra training, your normal programme is where the results happen.

These sessions are simply a chance to challenge yourself.

To do something you probably wouldn’t choose to do on a normal week.

To step outside your comfort zone.

The workout is scaled across all levels:

⚪ White
🟡 Yellow
🔵 Blue
🟣 Purple
⚫ Black

Whether you’re skiing, rowing or biking, we’ll make it work for you.

Can’t make Saturday? No problem. Drop us a message and we’ll get another opportunity organised.

The briefing will be simple:

🏔️ Step outside your comfort zone.

🏔️ One thousand metres at a time.

🚴 And yes bike users… before you ask like every single class, it’s double distance. 👀🤡

Tuesday = Lift & Load ➜ Grit & Graft

Our most popular session just got even better, as always scaled to all levels.

We now have four sessions every week that challenge you through a combination of strength and conditioning, helping you build a stronger, fitter, and more resilient body.

Lift & Load is where we focus on developing strength through the key movement patterns that form the foundation of functional fitness:

✅ Squat
✅ Hinge
✅ Push
✅ Pull
✅ Lunge
✅ Carry
✅ Rotation & Core Stability

Each month follows a specific training theme, allowing you to progressively improve technique, strength, confidence, and performance.

Once the strength work is complete, we move into Grit & Graft, where you’ll put that strength to work through challenging conditioning workouts designed to improve fitness, work capacity, and mental toughness.

With new membership options (no contract) available at less than £5 per session, there’s never been a better time to join the UPC Club and experience what makes these sessions so popular.

A brilliant test this weekend… 👀

Can you push the pace on the shorter runs 🏃‍♂️💨
…but still maintain your capacity between stations? 😮‍💨

That’s the challenge.

Not just fitness.
Not just speed.
The ability to recover, reset and go again under fatigue 💪

Remember:
✅ Pace the early rounds
✅ Stay smooth on the machines and movements
✅ Control breathing between efforts
