After 2 great performances at the weekend . Hadley in his 2nd skills bout showed how much he had learnt from his first and was told no more skills contests and showed he’s ready now to step up and another great performance from Will against a more experienced opponent 4 on the trot now for Will 4-0 .

Bendalls Boxing was out again on a great show held by Mackenzie’s in Canford Magna .

2 great performances by Lucas Barlett and Will Barker .

Lucas lost a very close fight to an older opponent from Exeter we will do the re-match soon .

Will beat Aliya Musa for the second time in a week . The first fight was very very close but today Will moved his feet better making it hard to hit him and won another close great fight but more convincingly .

Yesterday we went to Mayflower Amateur Boxing club in Plymouth .
Kieran Taylor once again step up
In class against the more experienced Ryan Gaffney from Mayflower and in a cracking close contest in which Kieran dropped Ryan in the second round but ended up losing on a 2-1 split decision.

Kieran has a chance to average the defeat on Saturday on Mackenzies show .

Will Barker having his 2nd Amateur contest after 10 white collar fights got the result in another split decision and a real hard fight contest against Aliyu Masa also of Mayflower .

We’re pleased to announce that Kieran will be taking over as the coach for our Saturday Kids Boxing Class from 10-11 am at Bendalls Gym.

Kieran has been with us for 2 years and has had 8 fights as an amateur winning 7 of them mostly by TKO, with his sights set on the professional ranks later this year, his experience in the sport will only continue to grow👊🏼

He brings great energy, knowledge and passion to the gym, and we know he’ll do a brilliant job helping the kids develop their boxing skills. We’re excited to have him leading the sessions and look forward to seeing the class continue to grow.
