⚫️⚽️🔴 It was an early start this morning, with both teams hosting at Scone Airport. Despite the rain, the boys were straight into action and gave it their all! ☔️

The Blacks persevered through a challenging game, showing plenty of character to keep working right until the final whistle. There was some great defending, important blocks and some really positive passing when moving the ball forward.

⚫️ This weeks Player of the Week for the Blacks is Sam - a fantastic effort in his first game for the team! ⭐️

The Reds played some great football and scored some brilliant goals, demonstrating a really dominant performance from start to finish, with the team controlling the game and moving the ball with confidence and purpose.

🔴 This weeks Player of the Week for the reds is Jack - thoroughly deserved for a relentless performance. His work rate was fantastic! ⭐️

Well done to all the boys — great effort from everyone! ♥️

🔴⚽️⚫️ Let the games begin! ⚫️⚽️🔴

The new season started for both teams with the Reds heading to Blairgowrie for an early kick off, and the Blacks welcoming Bridge of Earn at home.

🔴 The Reds showed fantastic resilience and determination today, digging deep and fighting for each other in a brilliant second-half performance.

A huge shoutout to Ben, who made his Reds debut today and was named Player of the Day by the opposition. 🤩

What a way to start! Welcome to the Reds, Ben!

And a big jaggies welcome to Scone Thistle 2016’s to Jude P, great to have you join us!

🔴⚽️⚫️ Parents vs Players! ⚫️⚽️🔴

☔️ The season came to a soggy but spectacular end with our annual Parents vs Players match... and what a game it was! ⚽️

🌧️ Despite the rain trying its best to abandon the fixture, both teams battled through puddles, sideways rain and conditions that were more "water polo" than football. 💪🏻

Full Time: Parents with a questionable WIN!

The match had everything:

🎥 Multiple VAR checks... mainly to confirm whether the ball had crossed the line or simply disappeared into a puddle.
🟨 No yellow cards, but several parents were close to getting booked for excessive time-wasting while catching their breath.
🏃‍♂️ The kids showed endless energy, while the parents discovered muscles they haven't used since last year's game.
🤕 A few dramatic falls... most caused by the pitch, although some may have been assisted by ageing knees or taking the kids out (not mentioning any names 😳)!

♥️ A huge well done to all our fantastic players, who kept the parents honest from the first whistle to the last. The score may say the parents won, but we're fairly sure the kids let us have this one... or at least that's what we'll keep telling ourselves!

Thank you to every player, parent, coach and supporter for another brilliant season. It's been full of effort, smiles, teamwork and unforgettable memories. 🖤

Have an amazing summer everyone! Rest up, enjoy the break... and parents, make the most of this victory. By next season these players will be taller, faster and definitely won't need VAR to beat us! ⚽💙🌧️

⚫️⚽️🔴 This week brings the summer term to a close, with the Blacks having a friendly on Thursday night, and the Reds welcoming Blairgowrie to Scone Park this morning. ☀️

👏🏼 It’s been a great season against a range of teams, and it’s brilliant to see both teams develop and challenge themselves at both training, and games. 👏🏼

🤩 On Thursday, Leo earned himself star player for his performance and positive runs throughout the Blacks match. ⭐️

🤩 Thomas was awarded star player today for his undeniable energy and work rate - this was chosen by the opposition coaches. ⭐️

🖤 Despite this being our last games of the term, we have a Players vs Parents match to look forward to on Wednesday - good luck all! ♥️

🔴⚽️⚫️ The Reds put in a great shift tonight, welcoming Crieff to Scone Park. Well done to both teams for playing in such challenging conditions. 👏🏼

☀️ Despite the extreme heat, the Reds had a great game - moving the ball quickly, recovering well and scoring some excellent goals! ♥️

⚫️⚽️🔴 The Blacks were at home this morning to Blairgowrie, while the reds enjoyed a free Sunday.

Big well done to the all the boys making the early kick off, despite some staying up to watch the Scotland game 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Despite the bleary eyes, the boys showed persistence and determination throughout. Logan took a turn in goals this week, earning himself star player for some great saves 🤩

🔴⚫️⚽️ While the Blacks were working hard at training tonight, the Reds had a mid week game, away to Bridge of Earn.

⚽️ Goals galore tonight, but even more impressive was the attitude and effort on display - with everyone working hard for each other and putting in a really solid team performance 💪🏻

⭐️ Well done to Russell who never got down about not scoring in recent weeks, staying positive and showing that hard work, paired with the right attitude, gets its rewards by bagging a hattrick and rightfully earning Player of the Day 🤩

🎉 Special birthday wishes to Jude who celebrates his birthday today! 🎈

🔴⚽️⚫️ Both Reds and Blacks were at North Inch Campus this morning, with the reds playing Pitfour and the Blacks playing Crieff.

Lots of excellent passing and determination across the teams. Great to see clinical finishing up front and resolute defending at the back. Well done to everyone 👏🏼
