⚽️ Sunday football with the Blacks! ⚽️

⚫️ Another positive performance from the boys today with plenty of attacking play and some cracking goals to show for it. 👏🏼

⚫️ Huge well done to Leo, who bagged a brilliant goal and put in a fantastic shift all over the pitch! His effort, energy and determination earned him Player of the Week — thoroughly deserved! 🤩

Meanwhile, the Reds had a free week… so while the Blacks were doing the hard work, they were probably still tucked up in bed! 😴

Well done, Blacks — another really encouraging performance and plenty to be pleased about! 🖤⚽️👏🏼

Rainy Sunday football! 💧🌧️☔️

🔴 The reds had a great game against a strong opposition today. The boys stuck to the game plan, worked hard for each other and kept their positivity from the first minute right through to the last. 👏🏼

🔴 Special mention to Mason B, who put in a fantastic shift up front. He led the press, worked tirelessly and was rewarded with a couple of goals for his efforts. 🤩

⚫️ A very positive game for the Blacks despite the usual Scottish Sunday weather! The boys all played really well, created plenty of chances and were rewarded with a few goals along the way.
It’s great to see them putting things from training into practice, and this week they were particularly good at getting the ball moving forward with some really positive passing. 👏🏼

⚫️ Player of the Week: Ryan, for his efforts in front of goal. Well deserved! 🤩

♥️ Well done to all the boys — plenty of hard work, good football and determination, all while getting absolutely soaked! 🖤

🔴⚽️⚫️ Parents vs Players! ⚫️⚽️🔴

☔️ The season came to a soggy but spectacular end with our annual Parents vs Players match... and what a game it was! ⚽️

🌧️ Despite the rain trying its best to abandon the fixture, both teams battled through puddles, sideways rain and conditions that were more "water polo" than football. 💪🏻

Full Time: Parents with a questionable WIN!

The match had everything:

🎥 Multiple VAR checks... mainly to confirm whether the ball had crossed the line or simply disappeared into a puddle.
🟨 No yellow cards, but several parents were close to getting booked for excessive time-wasting while catching their breath.
🏃‍♂️ The kids showed endless energy, while the parents discovered muscles they haven't used since last year's game.
🤕 A few dramatic falls... most caused by the pitch, although some may have been assisted by ageing knees or taking the kids out (not mentioning any names 😳)!

♥️ A huge well done to all our fantastic players, who kept the parents honest from the first whistle to the last. The score may say the parents won, but we're fairly sure the kids let us have this one... or at least that's what we'll keep telling ourselves!

Thank you to every player, parent, coach and supporter for another brilliant season. It's been full of effort, smiles, teamwork and unforgettable memories. 🖤

Have an amazing summer everyone! Rest up, enjoy the break... and parents, make the most of this victory. By next season these players will be taller, faster and definitely won't need VAR to beat us! ⚽💙🌧️
