We are excited to announce the appointment of Greg Cruickshank as Head Coach of our U20s 👏👏

Greg is no stranger to Jeanfield having had a couple of previous spells coaching our U20s & our 06s, gained experience coaching at Blairgowrie Juniors before becoming manager of Blairgowrie’s woman’s team and more recently Greg has been assistant coach with Alloa Pro Youth U17s & U19s.

Greg is highly qualified, holds his UEFA B License, and is keen to bring experiences gained to date to help develop the squad and work closely with Jason and our Jeanfield Swifts First Team to create a robust pathway for the future.

I’m sure you will all join me in welcoming Greg back into the fold 👍

Another season comes to a close, we celebrated the hard work and commitment of our players and coaches at our end of season awards.

The season itself was mixed for various reasons, they say the league table never lies and reflects that although strong runs in the Cups proved a good distraction. We continued to promote youth with a number of our U18s stepping up which was great to see and we also had another 3 of our 2007 players make the move to senior football during the year 👏👏

To the awards itself,

Results of the highly anticipated Connor Stewart Quiz, after 24 testing questions we had a tie break with the eventual winners being Cal, Daniel, Ethan & Ewan - well done lads 👏

Good luck to the lads who have come to the end of their U20s journey, for some senior football beckons and we wish all of them well in whatever they choose to do next 👏

For the rest of the group, enjoy your well earned break but be prepared to come back and get stuck into pre-season training 💪😁

The boys knocked the ball about well at times but lacked a cutting edge in the final third, Inverkeithing didn’t create that much but the chances that came along were converted.

Another away trip for the lads this Friday, this time Bayview Stadium to face Glenrothes in the league.

When the teams faced each other earlier in the season we just edged it 3-2 however since then Glenrothes have strung some decent results together and find themselves 2 points off top spot in 4th. As such we are expecting a tough match, all support welcome 🙏
