Proud of our young goalkeeper Marek Hermann who started for Jeanfield Swifts First Team yesterday in their away South Challenge Cup tie against Craigmark Burntonians FC

The team managed to secure a 3-1 victory 👏👏 and Marek certainly didn’t look out of place showing confidence with his handling and distribution. Keep up the great work Marek 💪💪

COACHES & REFEREES MAN OF THE MATCH 📣

Clean sweep this week for Ryan Cunningham who picks up the awards in our recent league match against Glenrothes 👏👏

Ryan bagged himself 3 goals on the night showing great composure and accuracy in front of goal including one from a direct free kick 👍

Notable mentions also go to Euan our young goalie who kept us in the game at times, Ewan who was very solid in the centre of the park and Thomas who showed great energy and powers of recovery 👏

Full time at Bertha, a convincing win in the end and all 3-points secured👏

The lads went in 3-2 at the break after giving away a couple of cheap goals however made up for it 2nd half by scoring 4 without reply. Overall a good nights work for the lads who will take confidence into the next match.

The lads are at home tomorrow evening when we host Glenrothes in the league.

Glenrothes are yet to get off the mark this season and will be keen to put in a strong performance, games between the teams last season were close and another competitive match is expected.

Well done to 3 of our lads, Jack McLean, Marek Hermann and Owen Tosh 👏👏 👏 for getting the call up yesterday to support our senior team in their away league match against Blackburn United FC which finished 2-2.

All gaining valuable experience being in and around the senior squad on a match day with Owen coming on in the 2nd half to get some decent minutes under his belt 👍

It’s great to see the pathway working and the hard work being put in between our Jeanfield Swifts First Team and the U20s 🤝🖤🤍🖤🤍

Full time at Pitreavie and it’s the home team taking the points home 🥲

The lads got themselves into a great position going 2 up within 13mins however a crazy 10min spell either side of half time left us 4-2 down and with it all to do. A goal was pulled back and despite piling on the pressure the home defence held out.
