Also today we had a great turn out for Captain’s Prize to the Ladies. Thank you to Mr Captain Ian Morgan for his generous gifts.
The Winner was Karen Goodhew, (17) Nett 77, 2nd place Maxine Rowlands (7) Nett 77, 3rd place Fran Jewkes (25) Nett 77 - Congratulations!

Good evening all!

Today it was Captain’s Prize to the Juniors and we thank Mr Captain Ian Morgan for his generous gifts. The Winner of the 18 hole competition was Charlie Gregory (HI 10.9) with 39 points, 2nd Will Frost, 3rd Will Cheadle.

The Winner of the 9 hole competition was Henry Lansley with 28 points, 2nd Teddy Carter, 3rd Will Francis. Some handicap reductions for next time - well played all! Just a note to remember to always rake the bunkers!

The next comp is the Junior Club Championships on Sunday 28th June - see you then. Thanks Clare and Pete ⛳️

Well the Ladies Section today delivered a very well organised ‘Invitation to the Men’ Mixed Competition - thank you very much to the Committee, and thanks to all the helpers who assisted with the chair covers too - excellent teamwork 👏🏻
I am excited to announce the winners today.
In first place were Cherryl and Danny Twist (16) 44 points, 2nd: Elaine and Tony Manley (34) 44 points, 3rd: Wendy Moore and Paul Howard (13) 43 points.

Good evening. Ellesmere Juniors were competing today in the BMW MDGA Singles Matchplay at Home against Heaton Moor. We are delighted to announce the 4-1 victory for Ellesmere. All players home and away commented on the superb condition and presentation of the golf course. Great performance on this beautiful day. Well done to all!
