A huge congratulations to the Sawtry Colts U7 Blue Sox on an outstanding day of football, finishing runners-up in the Peterborough Athletic tournament! 🏆⚽

From the first game every single player gave their all, showing incredible effort, determination, and teamwork throughout a long and demanding day. It was fantastic to see everyone contributing, supporting one another, and playing their part in what was a true team performance.

The boys represented the club and themselves brilliantly, not only with their football but also with their attitude and sportsmanship. They should all be incredibly proud of what they have achieved together.

A big thank you to all the parents and grandparents for their support throughout the day, your encouragement from the side lines never goes unnoticed.

Finishing runners-up is a fantastic achievement, and one that reflects the hard work, dedication, and team spirit this group has shown all season. Well done, boys – you are a credit to yourselves, your families, us coaches and the club. 👏💙⚽

We’re looking for experienced players who are ready to compete, develop, and be part of a positive, hard-working team.

💛💙Sometimes it takes just one moment to change a life.
And sometimes it takes a community to protect one.

This petition is calling for cardiac screening at age 14 — something that could genuinely save young lives. Sudden heart issues don’t always show signs. They don’t care how fit, active or full of potential a child is. Screening gives families a chance to catch what can’t be seen… before it’s too late.

If you can spare 30 seconds, please add your name.
Not for numbers. Not for politics.
But for every child who steps onto a pitch, into a classroom, or out into the world with their whole future ahead of them.

Your signature could be the one that helps make this happen.
Your share could be the one that reaches the right person.
Together, we can push for something that truly matters. ❤️

Fund population cardiac screening for every young person when they reach age 14 years. The screening should be undertaken with a review of family history and electrocardiogram (ECG) followed up where necessary with echocardiogram (heart scan).

The 2026 edition of BDGK Keeper Wars is nearly full, with over 80 goalkeepers already signed up for what’s described as the best day of the goalkeeping calendar .

A few final spaces remain, with the organisers especially keen to fill:

💛💙Sawtry Colts Posh Cup 2026 💛💙

The Sawtry Colts Posh Cup returns for its 3rd year, hosted at Weston Homes Stadium in Peterborough.
It’s a brilliant fundraising match featuring Colts managers, assistants and parents going head‑to‑head.

Last year the Blue Team lifted the trophy — can they defend it this time?
Fans are encouraged to come along, support both sides and enjoy a great day for the club.

Tickets are available now, with all proceeds supporting Sawtry Colts FC.
