The club is sorry to have to advise that in light of changed guidance from England Athletics we are suspending all club activity as a result of the Coronavirus.

This includes all junior sessions and the upcoming AGM.

Like EA we hope everyone is able to individually maintain their running fitness.

Unfortunately we are going to have to cancel tonight’s juniors session as we have some visitors at the sports centre. Apologies for any inconvenience. We will start back again next Friday.

Yaxley Juniors will finish this Friday (20th July) for a summer break. We will be back on Friday September 7th at 6pm

Next Saturday (23rd) is the 16th Annual Hampton Fun Run. Starting at noon, it’s a 3km circuit around St James’ Pond and Robins’ Wood. The event is organised by Yaxley Runners and Joggers in association with Hampton Vale Primary School. All profits are donated to the Ben Hunt Menorial Garden.

The run will start and finish opposite Hampton Vale Primary School. All under 8s must be accompanied by an adult.

The juniors section run out of the HCSA facility on Beumont Way every Friday (17:45 for a 18:00 start until 19:00). The sessions are run by UKA coaches qualified to UK Athletics standards, are all DBS checked and qualified first aiders. We run a full athletics programme aimed at providing children with the opportunity to learn, practice and develop all aspects and events within the sport. We welcome children of all abilities between the ages of 8 and 18.
