🏏 4TH TEAM VICTORY & TWO MAJOR MILESTONES! 🏏
A fantastic afternoon for our youthful 4th Team, who secured an impressive victory at home to Yarm through determination, patience and some outstanding batting performances.
After Yarm's openers put together an excellent partnership, we finally made the breakthrough with the score on 119. The team stuck to the task superbly, restricting Yarm to 207-7 from their 40 overs.
In reply, we chased down the target in just 33.1 overs for the loss of only three wickets, thanks to an unbeaten partnership led by captain Abbas Ali and Finlay Coverdale.
💯 Abbas Ali brought up his maiden senior club century in style, finishing unbeaten on 116 from just 89 balls, including 19 fours and a six.
50!! Finlay Coverdale continued his impressive start to senior cricket, recording his maiden senior club fifty with an excellent unbeaten 63 from 87 balls, including 9 fours.
Two fantastic milestones, a brilliant team performance, and a victory to celebrate.
