Hartlepool Rugby Club, more commonly referred to as the 'Old Boys', was established in 1893 and has been based at Mayfield Park, Easington Road since 1970. We currently run three senior rugby teams that are established and competitive within league & cup competitions. Our Mini & Junior section offers children from the ages of 4 to 17 the opportunity to play rugby in a safe, fun and positive enviro

nment. This page is a wonderful way for us to connect with you our members and the local community who are the heart of the club. We remain committed to working closely with you in order to further our on and off the field ambitions. A great night in The Lindridge Lounge on Saturday as we celebrated the achievements of our U17 Academy players from last season and recognised their hard work and dedication.

It was also fantastic to bring together our current U16 players as we look ahead to an exciting milestone for the club. For the first time, we will field two Academy sides next season.

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Joe Goodison and Karl Mann as the new coaches of our U18 Girls Academy.

Both Joe and Karl are fantastic club lads who bring plenty of enthusiasm, passion and commitment to the role. They are excited about the opportunity to help develop our girls both on and off the field and canโ€™t wait to get started.

As the exam season comes to an end, weโ€™re looking forward to welcoming our U18 girls back for pre-season training and beginning an exciting new chapter for the team.

With new coaches and new sponsors on board, this is a hugely exciting time for our U18 Girls Academy, and weโ€™re keen to welcome new players into the squad.

If youโ€™re a school leaver or currently in college and fancy giving rugby a try, weโ€™d love to hear from you. No previous rugby experience is necessary - all new players are welcome, regardless of ability or experience.
