📅 𝗙𝗶𝘅𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗱!

We can now confirm our first team fixtures for our 2026/27 Northern League campaign.

We get underway on Saturday 25th July with a home clash against AFC Newbiggin, before heading to take on Newcastle University and Park View AFC respectively.

We face Stokesley for our festive Boxing Day fixture, then kick off 2027 at home against Park View AFC.

We end our season with an away trip to Ryton & Crawcrook Albion, closing the curtain on our first season in the Northern League Division Two.

🦁 The Lionesses took part in a tournament hosted by the MFC Foundation tonight alongside 7 other Teesside teams. The girls finished top of their group then went head to head with Tibs in the semi final which ended in a tie and penalties. With two of our 3 brave penalty takers hitting the back of the net, our goal keeper, Delilah, stepped up and sent us to the final. The smile on her face was priceless!

The girls faced a technically strong Boro Rangers side in the final but were able to pip the win in the final minute of the game after a relentless battle between the two sides.

Well done girls! A brilliant performance from everyone. 👏🏻 🏆

🏆 Player of the tournament: Delilah! It was great to see her up for the challenge in goal today. She was nervous for penalties but went for it and sent us to the final and produced another top performance! ⭐️

𝙈𝙚𝙚𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘽𝙖𝙘𝙠𝙧𝙤𝙤𝙢 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙛𝙛 🤝

Over the close season, we’ll be taking a look at the individuals that maybe you don’t see on a match day but are important in the day-to-day operations and running of the first team!

First up: 𝘼𝙙𝙖𝙢 𝘿𝙖𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙤𝙣 📣

• 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐂𝐅𝐂: First Team Secretary
• 𝐍𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞? All of my family, friends and basically everyone who knows me calls me Davo.
• 𝐖𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐡 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦/𝐬 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭? Apart from Seaton Carew, I support Hartlepool United and Manchester United.
• 𝐃𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐡𝐨𝐛𝐛𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥? Away from football, I play pool for a local team (matches on a Sunday) and also have a few Lego collections.
• 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥? After watching and supporting Seaton Carew for the past couple of seasons, this will be my first full season here in the role of First Team Secretary and it's one I'm very much looking forward to!
• 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐢𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐂𝐅𝐂? I got involved with Seaton initially through my friends Bethan and Craig; it simply started by me watching them play as often as I could for the ladies and men's team respectively, and then at the end of last season I was asked to come onboard as First Team Secretary and it was a no brainer straight away!
• 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚 𝐨𝐧 𝐚 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐝𝐚𝐲: On a match day, I will have several responsibilities including submitting team sheets, managing match day paperwork and ensuring all match officials are settled.
• 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧: My hope for this upcoming season is to see more success off the back of the last campaign. We are under no illusion as to how much hard work it's going to take on and off the pitch but we are ready to kick on and take the club even further forward!

It’s a pleasure to have Davo on board; he’s an asset to an already fantastic team, gets on great with the squad and management, and has shown so much commitment to his role and the club already in a short space of time 💪🏼

🦁 Lionesses V Hetton Juniors 🦁

The Lionesess faced Hetton Juniors in their summer cup campaign yesterday. It was another one of those frustrating Lioness games where they’re the more dominant team but seem to have their boots on the wrong feet when it comes to finding the back of the net. Although they were relentless on the attack the majority of the game, Sadie was the only one who managed to score and finish her chances. Still unbeaten. 👏🏻

🏆 POM: Sadie - Our little workhorse. Never stops. Some great goals yesterday. Well done! ⚽️ ⭐️
