I opened Hartlepool Hawks to introduce Hartlepool to the cheerleading
World, to also promote fitness, develop team work, self-discipline, friendship, and building a Childs confidence. The main role of the club, which I think is most important is for all participants to simply have FUN! Yes we are a cheerleading academy, but NO we dont just shake pom poms and we certainly don't spell out words whe
n we talk! We Tumble, Jump, Twist, Fly - We need to have the power of a gymnast, the strength of a weight lifter and the grace of a dancer! Our Cheerleaders train between 1 or 2 hours a week up to over 20 hrs a week!! Depending on weather you want to come as a recreational cheerleder or train as an Allstar Cheerleader! We offer training in; Stunting, Tumlbing, Pom, Jazz, Hip hop, flexibility even BOYZ ONLY classes!!! Also in the new year we will also be offering Ballet, Contemporary and musical theatre training too!! Everyone is welcome at the academy! Whatever age, gender or ability! Come and join in with the fun ! Cheerleading is the sport of smiles! We have recently got our own premises, which has gave us a great opportunity to offer more classes to the community, we now have better facilities and also more time offer more classes to our pupils! We have also recently been awarded with the National Lottery Award which has helped fund our facilities with top of the range tumbling equipment!! Hartlepool Hawks is a Allstar cheerleading programme, and we compete various cheerleading championships! But you do not have to compete to be a hawk!
