MY NETWORKING JOURNEY

Coffee and Connections, something so simple yet one of my proudest achievements of the year.

I ran the first event in April this year. Today was our 7th get together and the last one of 2026 (other than the Xmas party....) so I didn't want to let today pass without sharing.

I was terrified of networking, and becoming a networking w@nker, as a friend and I used to call it. But after trying it, I understood the value. For reasons too long to type I decided to set up my own, and my god am I glad I did.

I can't call myself the queen of networking as this "queen hat", not crown, is firmly owned by Helrica Massage Clinic who has been to more events than I knew existed.
But I am very proud to be a network w⚓️.

My goal was to get better at talking about breathwork and to spread the word about what I do, and to help other's do the same for their business. That is exactly what has happened and so much more.

So many businesses have benefited from this community, including my own. Finding new clients, finding people to help us in business, be it printing flyers or taking over the admin, plus referrals, so many referrals. We have genuinely supported each other in growing.

The best bit, the people behind the business. I just love hearing the journey, the highs and lows, the struggles and the wins, where it all began and why. It is such an honour to have met so many incredible and inspiring people and to have made true friendships along the way.

So from me, thank you, to every person who has attended or is part of our facebook group, you have all played a part in the growth of our community that is supporting so many ❤️

I look forward to more of this in 2027.

Coffee and Connections.

Earlier this year I was struggling to find local networking groups that suited either my business or my schedule, so I started Coffee and Connections.

A networking event that is totally relaxed, friendly, and still creates valuable connections and Collaborations.

So many incredible partnerships, working relationships and friendships have come out of C&C, I could not be more proud of it.

This Wednesday is our final meet up of the year, (other than the Xmas party, more info in the link). It would be fab to see a mix of new and familiar faces as always. Please join us, everyone welcome, self employed, freelancers, small business owners, from all industries.

THIS PAST WEEK

Whats been going on...

Coffee and Connections, our 6th networking event at Willow Grange Farm Shop & Café, with our guest speaker Luana | Anti-boudoir Photography & Bold Branding Photography

A birthday massage and gifts from the amazing Helena at helricamassageclinic 💜

2 forest breathwork sessions, ladies and gents sessions, battling the elements at Butterflies Forest School🌲🌻🦋

Plus much more that did not make the camera roll including teaching Strong at FRESH. Hybrid Wellness Studio , dinner and show with my bestie, spoiled by my Man and my Mum for my bday, organising a xmas party that you are all invited to, the list goes on.

However, just for a little balance, as many people have commented lately about how well I am doing, which i very much appreciate, I like to also remind you that what you see on socials is not always the full picture.

Amongst these wonderful moments there have also been tears, moments of extreme self doubt and quite a huge wobble, which without the support of my fiancé I would not get through so smoothly.

But for now (snuggled up on the sofa full of cold, all attention and sympathy welcome) I am grateful for the people around me, I am proud of my networking group, and the people I help through breathwork, and the fact I have found the balls to say yes to a new venture that will change our lives.

Oh and of course i am looking forward to a good boogie at the Xmas party 🥳 🎄

HAPPY MONDAY

Last week was BUSY, seriously busy, and this week is not slowing down...

Quick recap, it was our boys 6th birthday, family meal plus a carnage party.
Darren Stevens and I celebrated 10 years since we met, with a meal at Griddle Bar and Meathouse followed by the most stunning stay at Willow Grange Farm Shop & Café

This week is Coffee and Connections, the dogs birthday, my birthday, covering extra classes, forest breathwork and much more, so wish me luck...

WEEKLY (ish) RECAP

The last week and a bit has been a whirlwind and I am not sure the weather is changing anytime soon. All area's of life are busy, personal, family, work...

I signed up and started training for Cambridge Half Marathon , I ran a resilience workshop and breathwork session for a big corp in Welwyn, we fired up the sauna for the first time at Willow Grange Farm Shop & Café, my boy came to the end of a chapter with Nathan Mitchell at football fun factory, I had a branding photo shoot with Luana | Anti-boudoir Photography & Bold Branding Photography, and spent time with my boys at Cambridge United FC and showed Albi the sauna.

There is a lot of juggling going on right now, and I am pretty confident I am dropping balls left right and centre, but there's nothing that can't be picked back up or fixed, so we keep juggling, and go on with the show.

No doubt this juggling act rings true for many of you, just remember even the greats make mistakes, we do not need to be perfect, and the show will go on regardless, and what a show it will be 🎪 p.s we also went to the circus yesterday and didn't take a single photo 🤡

BACK IN THE FOREST 🌳

I am so excited to confirm we are heading back to the beautiful Perriways Forest, home of for an autumn breathwork, before the winter arrives.

After amazing feedback regarding the separate ladies and gents sessions, I have done the same again, so there is a session for every.
Ladies first in the afternoon, gents early evening.

This forest really is something special, so if you haven't been before, that alone is a good reason to join us. But my breathwork is pretty awesome too, even if I do say so myself.

The forest sessions do sell out, so get booked on, as this is the last forest session of the year.
