To make best use of the expertise and experience of senior staff in racing yards by training them to coach effectively and to share good practice through the application of a structured, yard-based coaching programme

🐴🚨 Would you know what to do?

You check your horse in the morning and discover a bizarre lump, or suspect they might have eaten something in the paddock while they were turned out having a break.

In a busy racing yard, would you know how to check their vital signs and what information your vet would need? The right information could help your vet assess the situation quickly — and in some cases, you may be able to manage the situation without needing a vet visit.

Our Level 3 Award in Equine Emergency First Aid will not only give you a recognised qualification, but also the knowledge and confidence to deal with unexpected situations. It’s also a fantastic addition for aspiring barn managers looking to develop their skills and CV. 👌🐎
