Hatfield town win by 24 runs.

An awful batting display saw us lose our unbeaten record against a very good hatfield town side who have demolished the league.

Congratulations to them on their league success.

We have 1 more important game next week against bullcroft.

Meanwhile the 2nd team played their 1st game in 4 weeks..

2nd team win by 26 runs in a game which saw rossington play with onky 8 men against balby who only had 9.

Rossington cc 190 all out

Bullcroft 92 all out.

Brilliant afternoon at the CB has the 1st team beat high flying table toppers bullcroft by 98 runs.

Bullcroft won the toss and asked main to bat 1st on a green 'rosso road'

Lumley and Lattimore walked out to bat and had to dig in early doors, both riding their luck getting dropped. The pair put 81 on for the opening wicket before Lumley fell LBW (leg before wide) to Rutherford for 29. Definately need to get VAR in the ponte league.

Lattimore and grace continued taking us along before grace got a popper that took the edge, shortly followed by Wiqas for a duck.

We were heading for another standard rosso collapse but Lattimore and Parker steadied the ship, Lattimore going on to make 79 taking us to 190 at the half way stage.

2nd half and Wiqas struck a blow in the 1st over removing Rutherford for a duck, and it all went downhill from their for the visitors.

Brilliant bowling from Wiqas who took 5-34 from 14 overs and twhsheen Shinwari who took 4-32 off 8.

Rossingtom win by 98 runs.

Onto next week as the 1sts travel to garforth, and the 2nds host Newton Hill.
