✅ Duty Manager
We’re looking for a responsible leader to help oversee daily operations, ensure guest safety, and keep the centre running smoothly. If you have great people skills and a "can-do" attitude, this is for you!

✅ Casual Catering Staff
Love providing great service? We need friendly faces to join our catering team, serving up snacks and refreshments to our happy campers and adventurers throughout the busy spring and summer months.

🌟 New for 2026 🌟
Our brand new “Lakeside Library” is located in our indoor seating area and is full of books, toys, popular board games, dominoes, card games and puzzles to keep you and your family entertained on rainy days and long days.
We’ve got pop up pirate, scrabble, upwords, hungry frogs, frustration, a poker set, twister, kids toys and so much more.
Everything is free to borrow, and we are adding new items to the library all the time.
In line with our sustainability values, everything from our Lakeside Library is has been bought from a local charity shop.

We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Manager here at Hatfield Outdoor Activity Centre and Campsite.

The Assistant Manager role is a new position for the site, forming a prominent position in the management structure and playing a crucial role in the operations of this venue.

Supporting the General Manager, the Assistant Manager will oversee key operational duties for the venue and provide key business information that will ensure success.

As assistant manager you will be responsible for operational aspects of day-to-day delivery. You will work closely with other colleagues across the site to deliver a first-class customer experience for our guests.

Join us at Hatfield Outdoor Activity Centre and gain the skills to keep swimmers safe in our natural pool and aquapark.

This hands on course covers essential lifeguarding skills, including rescue techniques, surveillance, emergency planning, CPR, and First Aid. You’ll practice real-life scenarios under the guidance of experienced tutors, learning how to respond confidently to emergencies in both open water and aquapark settings.

Ideal for anyone looking to start a lifeguarding career, upgrade their skills, or work in aquaparks.

Course fee: £250. Funding may be available for candidates aged 16 or 17 years or those already working for DCLT.
