🏉 Rugby League in our schools! 🏉

Today we took our brand-new rugby league schools delivery programme into Park Primary and Stone Hill School, giving even more children the opportunity to pick up a rugby ball and experience our great sport.

The children were absolutely brilliant and loved getting involved. Seeing so many youngsters enjoying rugby league and developing new skills is exactly what this programme is all about.

A massive thank you to MK2 Lift Trucks, whose partnership has helped part-fund these school places and allows us to get rugby league in front of even more children across Doncaster. 👏

And it doesn't stop with the coaching! Schools that engage with the programme will be invited to compete in the MK2 Lifts Cup at Club Doncaster Sports Village, giving children the chance to represent their school and play rugby league at the stadium. 🏟️🏆

📣 WE WANT MORE DONCASTER SCHOOLS INVOLVED!

If you're a teacher, PE lead or headteacher and would like to bring rugby league into your school, we'd love to hear from you.

Our aim is simple — get more children across Doncaster playing and enjoying rugby league, then create opportunities for them to continue playing within their local community.

🏉 WE’RE STILL LOOKING FOR CASUAL COACHES! 🏉

As our rugby league development work continues to grow across Doncaster, we’re looking to add more casual coaches to our team at the Dons.

We’re looking for enthusiastic, reliable people who have a passion for rugby league and enjoy working with children and young people.

Opportunities will include:

🏫 Rugby league delivery in primary and secondary schools
🏉 Community rugby league sessions
🔥 Dons Progressive Pathway sessions
☀️ Holiday camps and community events
🏟️ Matchday festivals and activities at Club Doncaster Sports Village

This is paid casual work, with opportunities available during school hours as well as at other times throughout the week.

Coaching qualifications and experience are desirable, but we’re also interested in hearing from people who are keen to develop as coaches and get involved.
