A home win for the Open Age lads against a good physical West Bank side. It was a game of 2 halves once again as Panthers were 24-0 at Half time. West Bank battled back in the second to take the game right to the last minute. Vice Captain Pilky sealed the deal under the posts to take the 2 points ⚫️⚪️⚫️

And now the dust has settled….

Yesterdays results ⚫️⚪️⚫️
Our A team game was unfortunately abandoned down at Panther Park part way through the second half due to one of the Accrington players needing medical attention. We’re pleased to say he’s ok after a short stint in Wigan hospital & we hope he makes a speedy recovery!!

The First team headed up to Heysham Atoms in their second encounter for the season. Hot out the blocks the Panthers raced into a 16-0 lead, but Heysham wouldn’t lie beaten & took the lead before half time. Chorley found a second wind & looked like the game was possibly won, but it wasn’t to be, as Heysham took the spoils in the end

No game for the A team next weekend, whereas the Firsts entertain West Bank Bears ⚫️⚪️⚫️

Another Panther side at home this morning was the Under 10s blacks ⚫️⚪️⚫️ And by all accounts they had a cracking game today against a tough Cadishead Rhinos team! With some great team plays & individual runs it was extremely impressive, but most importantly the tackling was spot on from all 🏉
