Our Freestyle U10’s played their final game of the season today — and what a fantastic way to finish! 🖤🧡🤍⚽

Coach Karen said:

“The team photo says it all — what an amazing finish to a fantastic season! 🧡⚽

Every single player did both the team and the club proud today. Their effort, attitude and togetherness on display were absolutely brilliant to watch.

Our new formation continues to create more opportunities for everyone, helping improve player development, confidence and overall game understanding. Today was such a united team performance, full of positivity, enthusiasm, energy and belief.

A huge shout out to our goalkeeper for making some incredible saves and continually driving the team forward. 🤲

Our defence was outstanding throughout — closing down quickly, forcing mistakes and remaining calm and in control under pressure.

Our midfield worked tirelessly, always finding the right spaces and showing fantastic determination in 1v1 and 1v2 battles, helping push play higher into the opposition half.

Our wingers and forwards were tenacious and brave throughout.

Overall, it was a fantastic display of football and a brilliant way to round off the season.

Our captain, ‘The General’ IW, wanted to present our Coaches’ Recognition Award to MA, who had a stellar game today on his 60th appearance for the club 🤘

Unfortunately, this was his final game for us as, after four years, MA is moving on to pastures new. Keep up the great work, and thank you for allowing us to play a small part in your footballing journey ⚽🌟

Congratulations also go to HB, who made his 35th club appearance today 👏⚽

Last, but by no means least, a massive thank you to all our parents, families and supporters for your incredible encouragement and positivity throughout the season.

Your support means so much to both the players and coaching team alike.

It truly has been an amazing season — and one we have all thoroughly enjoyed.

As a club and team, we will continue training over the summer and look forward to seeing you all again at Tuesday training.

Our Freestyle 10’s were back in action last weekend.

Coach Karen said:

What a great game of football today!

There was so much to be proud of, our players stepping up into new positions in the second half, great link-up play, strong 1v1 battles, Sterling runs, excellent saves, and fantastic sportsmanship and teamwork throughout.

We just couldn’t quite get past their defence today. However, we had some brilliant shots on target that were well saved, and even hit the crossbar… the goal gods just weren’t on our side this time!

Today’s Coaches’ Recognition Award was chosen by our captain, JM. He said, “HB had a great game today, made lots of runs, and worked harder than everyone.” Keep up the great work, ! ⚽️🌟

Congratulations also go out to:

* GF on making his 40th appearance

Our Freestyle U10s were back in action last Sunday — and what a performance it was! ⚽️

Coaches Karen, Richard & Rob shared how proud they are of the team, and it’s easy to see why.

The boys played with real commitment, strength and bravery, showing not just talent but outstanding sportsmanship throughout. It’s clear that the recent formation training sessions are paying off, with every player understanding their role and working together brilliantly as a unit.

From the first whistle to the last, the team played some excellent football — pressing quickly, forcing turnovers and keeping the opposition limited to long-range efforts.

There were some great 1v1 battles and physical moments, but the boys handled it all with respect and composure, even turning the opposition’s strengths to their advantage.

The midfield worked tirelessly to protect the defence and support the goalkeeper, while the frontline kept driving forward, creating plenty of chances on goal. Team shape, communication, and awareness across the pitch were all fantastic to see.

Most importantly, the team showed true sportsmanship — keeping their heads up, staying focused, and respecting the game and their opponents.

A huge well done to every single player — an absolutely brilliant team performance 👏

And thank you, as always, to all the parents for your continued support, encouragement and commitment. It makes a huge difference.

The team absolutely smashed it this week 💥

This week’s Coaches’ Recognition Award 🏆 goes to SM on his 90th appearance for the club 🌟

A fantastic performance — confident, composed and completely at ease on the pitch. Even after taking a few knocks, he came back each time braver and stronger, showing real determination and resilience.

WOW… WOW… WOW!!! What a game 🤩⚽️

Since January, every match has brought new challenges as this group of boys has stepped up into higher-level competition — and they continue to rise to it every single week.

Coach Karen said:

it was an end-to-end battle from the first whistle to the last, with every player stepping up and delivering an outstanding performance.

The team played some fantastic football today and should be incredibly proud.

The introduction of a new formation really paid off, encouraging excellent teamwork, communication, and bravery across the pitch. It was great to see us creating more opportunities, with sharp assists, quicker and wider play, and plenty of shots on target.

There were so many highlights — a brilliant free kick from MF, determined and exciting 1v1 battles from our wingers, and a rock-solid defence working seamlessly together with our goalkeeper, who made some fantastic saves.

The confidence throughout the team was clear to see. Absolutely awesome effort, boys 👏

A huge congratulations to HB for earning the Coach’s Recognition Award 🏆 for his superb performance, adaptability, and calm, composed approach. Very well deserved — keep it up!

It’s Semi-Finals day 🧡🖤🧡🖤🧡🖤

Coach Karen said:

WOW! Boys, you were amazing today — you are all winners. Reaching the semi-finals is a huge achievement, and every season you just keep getting better and better.

Our play today was brilliant. Our GK pulled off some outstanding saves, and going forward we created so many chances — far more than our opponents — but sometimes the ‘Goal Gods’ just aren’t on your side.

Defensively, we were strong and worked brilliantly alongside the midfield. It was a fantastic all-round team performance. We’ll take the lessons, learn from them, and come back even stronger next week.

So proud of these boys 🤘🤘🤘 playing in their very first semi-final — and I’m sure it won’t be their last.

To go from never getting past the first round in previous cup games to reaching the semi-finals this season, knocking out some big clubs along the way, is a massive achievement.

It’s been incredible to see how much they’ve grown and developed this season. They gave everything out there today and should be extremely proud of themselves.

Huge congratulations to every single one of them for reaching this milestone 👏

A special mention to AL for picking up this week’s trophy — thoroughly deserved 👏⚽️

Our Freestyle U10’s team would like to say a massive thank you to all parents for their ongoing support and encouragement.

Coach Karen said: It was great to stand with our parents & supporters during the first half in such a calm and positive environment 👍🏻

The boys played really well today and should be proud of themselves. That calm atmosphere and energy made a big difference, allowing them to play their own game with confidence.

We were a little slow to start, but once the sun came out, the boys warmed up and were ready to battle.

A special mention to IW and GF for their excellent defending—showing real bravery, commitment on the ball, and resilience.

They worked brilliantly alongside our goalkeeper, who is growing in confidence and made some fantastic saves.

Our midfield worked tirelessly, supporting the defence and then driving play forward to create opportunities. This led to some lovely passages of football towards the end, with great touches from our attackers.

There were plenty of chances created today, along with a noticeable increase in bravery going forward towards goal 👏

Congratulations to TJ, who received the Coaches’ Recognition Award for his excellent efforts in training, which are now clearly showing in matches—super work 🌟⚽️

Boys, you played with confidence, determination, and commitment, just need to add a bit more voice on the pitch next time 🗣️

Freestyle U10’s managed to get a game in despite the wet and freezing conditions — and every single player showed real character.

Coach Karen said:
Today’s main objective was simply to keep the players warm, with quick changes and everyone experiencing different positions.

A huge well done to all the boys — you were resilient, adaptable, and played your hearts out. Not once did you give up 👏

There were some brave moments in front of goal, with shots hitting the post and crossbar or being denied by the opposition goalkeeper.

We looked most dangerous when we worked together — communicating, holding our positions, passing, and scanning the game.

Our goalkeeper had a fantastic match, pulling off some brilliant saves, while the defence stayed strong and made great decisions throughout.

We kept pushing in the second half and were rewarded when AL grabbed a cheeky goal 😂

It was a very close game despite the result, but as always — we learn and improve. You should all be incredibly proud.

Coach’s recognition goes to SM, who took a few knocks today but showed outstanding determination, teamwork, and resilience — well done 👏

A big thank you to the parents who helped with set-up and pack-down — your support really helps the team and allows us to focus on the game 👍🏻

Freestyle U10’s were back in action travelling away and delivering another fantastic team performance.

Coach Karen said:

A huge thank you to all our parents and families for your ongoing support and encouragement — it never goes unnoticed and means a lot to both players and coaches 🙏

With it being a “Silent Weekend”, it was brilliant to see the boys play with such commitment, respect, and resilience right to the final whistle. Even better, they showed the confidence and maturity to express themselves and play their own game — something we’re incredibly proud of.

As always, we rotated positions, and it was great to see players embracing new challenges while others adapted their game to support their teammates.

A big congratulations to LA on receiving the Coaches’ Recognition Award ⚽️🌟

He embraced his new position brilliantly and showed real resilience and teamwork — keep up the great work!

The effort was outstanding once again. Remember “we never lose, we always learn”. This is a team that can hold their heads high and be proud.

Last Sunday on Mums Day, our U10s were back in cup action… and what a performance.

Coach Karen said it best: “Totally lost for words to describe how proud we are of you all.”

WOW. What a game. We’re through to the semi-finals 🏆⚽️🌟

The boys fully embraced Silent Weekend and took control from start to finish. High pressing, brilliant through balls, great movement, and smart use of space. Communication and encouragement were spot on across the pitch.

Every player showed real bravery. Our goalkeeper pulled off some outstanding saves. The defence stayed organised and closed down quickly. Midfield worked tirelessly, driving attacks and supporting at the back. Up front, fast starts and constant pressure, led by AH at centre forward, helped us keep possession and maintain that high press.

Absolutely brilliant 🤩

Even with a power play against us from around 20 minutes, playing 7v8 and later 7v9 in the second half, our boys kept going and still made a difference. Not a single free kick did we conceded ✊

They were all outstanding 🥳

A special congratulations to IW “The General” on receiving the Coaches’ Recognition Award 🏆
As captain, he led from the front. He communicated well, played strong, and supported the team throughout. ⚽️🌟

Another special mention to FC on reaching his 50th game for the club 🤘 A great milestone and fully deserved.

What a game… a local derby and we edged a nine-goal thriller with the very last kick of the game! 🤯⚽️

Every single player was superb. Special mention to JM in goal for some incredible saves 🧤🔥

Our defence was rock solid, putting in great blocks and setting up counter attacks, while the midfield and forwards showed real pace and played some brilliant link-up football ⚡️

Communication was spot on all game and the quality of football at times was top notch 👌

Absolutely proud of every one of you – you’re smashing it 🌟🧡🖤

Special shoutout to AM who was unbelievable today! His energy, bravery and determination never dropped. Fully deserved Player of the Match 🏆⚽️ he covered every blade of grass and to cap it off, he’s a reached an incredible milestone of 90 appearances for the club! 👏👏

🤜🤛 A special mention as well to TJ, who reached his own milestone with 60 appearances – brilliant commitment!
