Charnock Richard Football Club This is the official page for Charnock Richard Football Club and it's Junior sections. Unincorporated Association (CASC) run by club members.

The football club has origins dating back to 1933 but since it was reformed in 1955 the history of the club shows that it hs had continual success in the local football leagues, none more so than in the seasons since the start of this new century. The First Team side currently competes in the Premier Division, which features clubs from Lancashire, Cheshire, Greater Manchester and Merseyside. After

an illustrious period in the West Lancashire League, of which they won the League title six times, the won promotion to the North West Counties 1st Division in 2016, with promotion to the Premier Division the following season. In their first season at the highest level we had ever played, we finished a respectable 6th place and scoring over 100 goals, and finishing 4th in 2021/22. The First Team also compete in the Emirates FA Cup and the Buildbase FA Vase, as well as the Lancashire Challenge Trophy and North West Counties League Cup. The club are also the current holders of the coveted Lancashire Amateur Shield having previously won the competition in the 2001/2, 2006/7, 2010/11 and 2011/12 seasons. With a strong band of loyal supporters the club consistently draws home crowds of around 120 and often over 150 spectators watch the club's home games. We thank all our current sponsors and fans for their backing as we continue our progress.
