Training is back!

Our full list of training times for our Ladies, Men's and Juniors all on one page to make life a little easier.

We are always welcoming new members so do get in touch if you want to join us.

Our juniors are split into 4 camps, with our Under 8 Gladiators and Under 10 Romans sessions running 9-10am on Sundays September- Mid March.

As a great introduction to team sports, we work in mixed ability to encourage team work and love of the sport.





Our next levels are our Under 12 Saxons, running 10-11 Sunday mornings, and Under 14 Centurians, running 10-11:30.

Starting to establish skills and positions, we become more structured in coaching and understanding game play

As we move through the age groups, we change how we coach, adapting to skill levels and individual players, with some ready for county and introductions to our adult teams. We work with you as the adult and your junior member to help decide what is right for them.

With DBS checked adults, and an established Welfare channel, we maintain a safe and inclusive environment for our young people.

And as a final note for our parents and guardians, you have a big part to play as well!

Be supportive, if you have a concern let one of the coaching or club leadership team know. We want you and your junior to have the most positive start to their sporting journey with us!

Join us on the 6th September between 9:30 and 15:30 to join in with some hockey action, getting to know you sessions, kit purchases, raffle and more to be announced!

You know its getting close to the start of the season when you have all the first aid kits out to check the dates and refil!

We need more first aiders as part of the club to ensure we have adequate coverage for training and matches. If you are interested in training as a first aider please drop Jill a message so we can get you on our training list!

(Still not sure how one kit ended up with 4 lots of eyewash and another with all of the scissors 🫣)

PreSeason kicked off last night with both Back to Hockey and our Ladies! Everyone looked like they were still alive at the end of the evening, might not be feeling the same way this morning 😅

BACK TO HOCKEY IS BACK!

Join us from Thursday 6th August between 19:00 and 19:30 to come and join in with some hockey.

Whether you have never played and just fancy a go, or you've been out for a while and are nervously returning, or maybe you've changed location and want to give Colchester a go, come join in, meet us, and have some fun!

For £25 for 6 weeks what have you got to lose?! With pre-loved equipment available to use you don't need to get spending before you are ready. And the best part? If you join us after the 6 weeks then that is put towards your membership costs.
