We are proud to announce the first-ever match for our newly formed Over 55s side as they make their debut against the England Over 60s team.

This is a huge milestone for the club and a fantastic opportunity for our players to represent Tekkers Community FC in what promises to be a memorable occasion.

We will also be saying farewell to a Tekkers legend Dave Dance will play his last competitive match for the club and forever as he finally brings the curtain down on his illustrious 40 year career in football 💚💚💚

We caught up with Simon Horne who is the head of the women’s football at the club here’s what he has to say about Sundays match .

Chelmsford City Women FC are delighted to be playing a part in supporting Emmie.
The women’s section of our club is entering its 40th year and, at the very heart of everything we have done, and continue to do, is community.
Every player, coach and supporter representing our club will be treating this game as a privilege. To be invited to do something that will help bring even more quality to the life of someone else is an honour and we look forward to taking to the field on Sunday and raising as much money and awareness as we can.
