We had an incredible evening last night with Steve Perryman at Kington St Michael social club.

The evening started with a meet and greet with Steve, where 25 people got to enjoy a curry with Steve. This was followed by what was meant to be a 90 minute talk and Q&A from Steve, but went into extra time as over 65 people enjoyed stories from Steve's school days through to his management career, with stories about famous team mates including Ricky Villa, Ossie Ardiles, Jimmy Greaves and Martin Chivers to name a few, we even got an insight into his relationship with Sir Alan Sugar.

The evening concluded later than expected, with a raffle in which nearly 30 prizes were shared among the room and supporters who couldn't attend.

Thank you to Kington St Michael social club and cafe for their hospitality and Forever Blooming by Vicky, who kindly covered our printing costs for the evening and donated raffle prizes.

Thank you to all the parents and coaches who kindly donated raffle prizes, to all the people who bought tickets and to all those who supported the raffle.

Finally, the biggest thank you goes to Steve Perryman, who gave up his time, entertaining the audience, dealing with some tricky questions, posing for photos, signing autographs and providing great humour throughout the evening.

We are still counting the money, but the evening raised well over £1000, which will enable the club to enhance the footballing experience for all the players within the club.
