Attached is the schedule for this weekends fixtures (12 / 13th September).

As it’s the start of the new season, can we please remind all visitors of the following parking arrangements when visiting Stanley Park.

If home teams, visitors and officials that are scheduled to play on the Prem pitch, pitches 1,2,3,4 and the 3G1 (Old 3G pitch), please park in the car park spaces in the main parking area at Stanley Park in front of the main building.
If home teams, visitors and officials scheduled to play on pitches 5,6,7,8,9 and 3G2 (new 3G) please park in Abbeyfield School.

Abbeyfield School car park will be open from 8:00am on Saturday and Sunday and then closed half an hour after the final fixture has been played.

FYI: All relevant coaches have been told via email of the road closure of Stanley Lane between (9:30am - 10:30am) on Sunday 13th September.

Please respect the facility, each other and most of all enjoy your visit.

We have been informed by Morgan Sindall Construction that there will be a lane closure with temporary traffic lights in place on Stanley Lane between 24/08-11/09 for the new Abbeyfield School project, as per attached plan. Apologies for any disruption this will cause but this is just a courtesy message to let you know its happening and you may have to make a slight adjustment to your travel plans when attending Stanley Park Sports Ground.

Wednesday 29th July - 9:00am - 1:00pm.
Friday 31st July - 9:00am - 3:00pm.
Friday 7th August - 9:00am - 3:00pm.
Wednesday 12th August - 9:00am - 1:00pm.
Friday 14th August - 9:00am - 3:00pm.
Wednesday 19th August - 9:00am - 1:00pm.
Friday 21st August - 9:00am - 3:00pm.
Friday 28th August - 9:00am - 3:00pm.

💰 £4 per person (cash/card both accepted).
👟 All players must have football boots

Due to a Staff Development Day on Tuesday 7 July, please note the changes to some opening times:

Customer Services, Town Hall - Closed all day
Chippenham Museum - Open 10am – 12noon
Stanley Park SG - Open from 5pm

Access to all other services, such as London Road Cemetery and John Coles Park, will continue as normal.

Final week to apply 🌱

It is the final week to apply for the groundsperson vacancy at Stanley Park SG.

This role is required to carry out all routine tasks of turf care and other operational activities at our award-winning facility, Stanley Park Sports Ground.

Reporting to the Head Groundsman, the role will support an existing team with an all-year-round maintenance programme. This can be physical and challenging work in all weathers, so flexibility is key. A driving licence is required.
