A fantastic return to CCRC’s FF1600 Championship for who twice got the measure of the so-far unbeaten in the two latest rounds at our Whitsun Warriors Race Day.

To say it was close between them is an understatement with as little as 0.015s separating the pair in qualifying as they took a pole position apiece. But it was Tom’s Van Diemen that came out on top in both contests with Luke’s Swift close behind in P2.

In the GTs, in his Ferrari 488 390 again took maximum points although was beaten into P2 in Race 2 by Sacha Kakad (ineligible to score) in Keith Butcher’s sinister-looking Lamborghini Huracan.

(SEAT Leon Cupra) was twice a winner in the two .cerney.engineering Saloons races.
