⚫️🟢 ACADEMY BATTING PERFORMANCES 🟢⚫️

What a summer it’s been for the next generation of Corsham CC cricketers! 👏

We’re incredibly proud to see so many of our young batters making their mark and showing the talent, hard work and determination that promises so much for the future of the club.

From big runs to valuable contributions, there have been some fantastic performances throughout the season — and it’s brilliant to see our youngsters stepping up and enjoying their cricket. 🌟

A special shout-out to James W (95) and Max E (94) for coming agonisingly close to those elusive hundreds, while Thomas P (78) and Kieran (76)* also put together excellent knocks.

And importantly, there’s plenty more talent coming through behind them! 💪🏏

The future is looking very bright at Corsham CC. 💚

Well done team — keep working hard, keep enjoying your cricket and keep pushing for those big milestones! 👊

🟢⚫️ FINAL LEAGUE STANDINGS ⚫️🟢

After Saturdays wash out this is how our senior sides have finished their 2026 campaigns.

Some amazing efforts across all our sides with the 1s finishing 2nd, sadly the 2s couldn’t maintain WEPL status this year but have managed to blood plenty of our talented young players across the season with the goal of coming back stronger in 2027.

Then two highly respectable finishes for our 3s & 4s. Overall a strong season with lots of positives to take from it and core memories made across the club.

Congratulations to everybody who represented our senior teams this summer and well done on some absolutely brilliant individual performances which we will touch on over the next couple of weeks.

A massive thanks to all our Corsham community who have followed the teams home and away all summer, this support is a big boon for the team.

Finally a big thank you 🙌 to all our sponsors across the club who continue to allow us to develop and improve our players and facilities all year round

Exciting times with the full pitch relay starting tomorrow as we continue to drive on and try and improve our product on and off the field

🟢⚫️ SENIOR PLAYERS OF THE WEEK ⚫️🟢

Shout out to Mikey Reynolds & Ahmed Jamal for their performances last weekend claiming our players of the week awards.

Also a strong mention to Flynn Day for his 42 on Saturday taking us from 104-8 to 191-9 alongside Wilesy to go with 44 in the Wallop semi final on Sunday morning

Then a big 👏👏 to .har53 taking 3-33 & scoring 25* on his 2nd XI debut last week

⚫️🟢 WALLOP FINALS DAY 🟢⚫️

Results from Sundays Wallop finals day as we fell at the final hurdle & were unable to retain our title.

After 8 games undefeated this year and 13 games in total going back into last season it wasn’t to be in 2026 with massive congratulations to Potterne Cricket Club on their deserved victory 🏆

One defeat shouldn’t put a downer on the job Jack & the team have done to win last year and come back to the final again this year. So a big 👏👏 to everybody who represented the side this summer

Also a massive shout out to everybody who came along and supported on Sunday, it was lovey to see the ground so busy with support for all 4 teams being loud and well received.

Time to regroup and come back stronger in 2027!
