So with our first race of the 2026 season at Donington Park next Sunday we have been busy getting Dolly ready.

The new AP racing concentric clutch slave was fitted to the Gas n Gears built dog box along with new braided lines from HEL and the gearbox refitted and clutch bled.

Inlet manifold and ITBs have been refitted, we had hoped to be able to get our new composite manifold fitted and mapping tweaked, but unfortunately time has not been on our side….so looks like this will have to be done after Donington.

We then turned our attention to the alternator, which stopped charging during the last race meeting of 2025. We had hoped that it may just be a loose wire but unfortunately the regulator is knackered, so the alternator was removed and sent to Brise for repair, luckily we have a spare that has been fitted while the other one is in for repair. We then gave the underside of Dolly a good clean, fitted the freshly serviced extinguisher, fitted a new rain light and did a full spanner check.

Tim and Dolly have unfinished business at Donington as the last three visits have certainly not gone to plan…..

Weather is looking dry, so if you are local and at a loose end why not pop down!

As always a massive shout out to all our sponsors and supporters.

What's been going on in TeaMoll HQ this evening ...

So with the racing clutch back from Helix and the lightened flywheel back from our Sponsors Gas N Gears with a further 0.8mm material removed to allow for the new concentric slave setup, we set about getting the clutch and flywheel mounted, torqued and marked up in preparations for the new braided concentric feed lines being delivered any day now!
It was a warm one in there today, and I had to go topless so sorry if you have just eaten!!!
With some spare time until the gearbox can be fitted, the trailer has started to be serviced and it looks like we could be on the front foot for a change.
Tim will be fitting the velocity stacks back onto Dolly over the next day or two, then we can both get her serviced and be ready for Donny on fathers day!!!

Much love, Gonk and Tim TeaMoll Motorsport .

With the 2026 season already underway, we have been a bit quiet……don’t take this as a lack of activity however!

At the end of last year Dolly and Tim’s other projects were moved to the new TeaMoll Motorsport HQ and first job was to identify the cause of the slipping clutch Tim experienced during the last round of the 2025 CSCC Special Saloons and Modsports season at Castle Combe.

The gearbox was removed to find a failed clutch release bearing that in turn had damaged the guide tube and seal beneath it causing gear oil to leak on to the clutch.

Tim decided he wasn’t happy with the standard release bearing setup so set about sourcing parts to convert to a AP Racing concentric clutch slave to eliminate the problem moving forwards. While the box was out it was shipped down to our sponsor Gas N Gears Ltd.for a strip and check…..lucky we did as Mart found that the plate diff pre load was well below optimal….so this was sorted along with any other parts that required servicing and it is now ready for refitting.

While the box was out Tim started thinking about other improvements and thanks to the Xmas present he never knew he needed from Stella of a 3D printer……he came up with a new carbon composite intake manifold design that we believe is better than anything else on the market currently from a flow perspective, not to mention the weight and heat transfer reductions that should all lead to improved cylinder filling and performance. Paired with his new design he has also designed the TeaMoll Motorsport range of composite velocity stacks which use an exponential curve internal geometry to maximise airflow.

Watch this space over the coming weeks for back to back Dyno test results.

The velocity stacks are already available for anyone running DCOE type ITBs and can be supplied to suit any diameter ITBs and length to suit your requirements. PM us for further details 🏁

Due to Tim having to have surgery on his other knee earlier this year, the first outing for Tim and Dolly will be Donington Park on the weekend of 21st June and he will be looking to capitalise on the new parts fitted over the winter 💪🏻🏁

As always a big shout out to all our followers and supporters and of course to all our other sponsors:-

Sometimes, you get asked to do things you don’t like but when needs must you make an exception.
This CG flywheel for Teamoll motorsport is now sporting a new clutch plate which is thicker than the original.
Because of this the clutch fingers are laying too far towards the clutch.
It doesn’t sound much but 0.8mm has to be removed from the face. Usually I’d pop this in the lathe but I know from experience that even with a good insert and a relatively slow speed there’d be vibrations or issues with hot spots so I setup the rotary table and milled it off.

It’s now ready for the new AP racing hydraulic release bearing setup ( adaptor plate from Aantepastebak.nl) 👍🏻

So it’s been a while since our last post as honestly didn’t have time to post an update …..so long post warning!

After the failure we experienced at the Oulton Park Gold Cup, Tim pulled the engine and stripped it to assess the damage……and it was extensive! Root cause is suspectes to be a dropped valve, exactly what caused that is unknown, although there was evidence on other pistons of valves ‘kissing’ pistons, so piston to valve contact is likely cause.

Head was stripped and assessed and was sent off to Alloy Racing Fabrications to be welded prior to going to EXON race engines to have new seats put in.

Meanwhile block was stripped and taken to Sheffield Engine Services to have the damaged bore lined. Luckily we had a good spare piston and the rod was undamaged. Because of the evidence of piston/valve contact we took opportunity to sink the valve pockets an extra mm to give some extra clearance.

Once everything was machined Tim then set about getting the engine rebuilt and back in Dolly…..he had a deadline to make as he was determined to do the last round of the season with the CSCC Special Saloons and Modsports at Castle Combe.

With the help of R-Werks the engine was back in and running the weekend before Combe and Race Dyno Tuning were able to get it ran in on the Dyno and mapped ready for the weekend.

With Tim heading down to Combe via Heathrow to pick up his sister and family on the Friday it left the duty of picking Dolly up and bringing her down to Combe with Dave Cleland….cheers Daddy Dave!

So Dolly flew through scrutineering Sunday morning and was ready to go…..or was she…..battery was flat so connected up jump pack to fire her up and headed out, however after just 2 laps Tim got a low battery warning on the dash….he coaxed her round to make sure he got the compulsory 3 laps and then parked her up. Despite the early bath we qualified 7th overall and 3rd in class.

Tim checked all wiring and found that alternator was dead…..it was decided to strap a second battery in and charge both up and along with the jump pack connected hope that it would last the race distance.

Race 1 and after a decent start Tim was up to 4th overall and 1st in class, but the race was pretty much a non event as after 2 racing laps safety car was deployed and the race finished behind it…..but a win is a win!

Race 2 saw Tim line up 3rd and despite a few cars changing places this is where he finished with a 3rd overall and 1st in class again.

A great end to a long stressful few weeks!

As always a massive shout out to our sponsors and supporters
