One of the questions I hear all the time from pregnant mums is:
"Is it actually safe to exercise during pregnancy?"
The good news is that for most women, not only is exercise safe, it's one of the best things you can do to support your body during pregnancy.
In our recent MumSafe™ Masterclass with women's health physiotherapist Ashley Vincent, we talked about all the changes happening throughout pregnancy and why movement can make such a big difference.
As your body grows and changes, so do your posture, balance, energy levels and stability. It's no wonder so many mums experience aches, poor sleep, fatigue and uncertainty about what they should or shouldn't be doing.
The right type of exercise can help support your body through these changes and help you feel stronger, more comfortable and more confident as your pregnancy progresses.
Whether you've always exercised or you're only just getting started, pregnancy isn't about pushing harder. It's about moving in a way that supports your body and helps you feel your best.
And the best part? You don't have to figure it all out on your own.
Having the right guidance can help you feel confident knowing you're exercising safely while preparing your body for birth, recovery and motherhood.
As we head towards the end of Term 2 I'm opening trial sessions for my Term 3 classes.
If you'd like support from someone who understands the journey and can help you exercise safely through pregnancy and beyond, I'd love to help.
