Today on June 15 we celebrate International Frontrunners Day!

Sydney Frontrunners are just one in a global network of LGBTQIA+ running and walking clubs with chapters in major cities worldwide. The movement originally began in 1974 when the first club was founded in San Francisco, and has since grown to over 120 clubs.

Wherever you travel in the world, your Frontrunners family is not far 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

It was a big Saturday morning for Sydney Frontrunners, celebrating International Front Runners Day, sending off our athletes competing in the upcoming València Gay Games 2026 and also running our TCS Sydney Marathon presented by ASICS partner club run.
