We couldn’t possibly sum up the weekend as well as our very own Glen Greenberg - “Yesterday at Hurstville Oval - we saw the future of UNSWCC. What an absolutely unbelievable performance and effort it was. We have future Bees first graders emerging from yesterday’s heroics. While the whole Club all held its breath in that last over - we had young Yug Chaudhari, an Under 16 Green Shielder almost carry the club to a premiership. Watching both teams at the Presentation - whilst we didn’t get the flag, we clearly saw an incredibly young team full of talent that played their hearts out that will now all progress into higher grades and lead the way for our Club. Our 4’s team showed the blueprint for the Club. Passion, tenacity, belief and hard work. They were so close - but to everyone that was there and was riding every ball with you, we are so incredibly proud of you all and thank you for your commitment. The feeling off the field with all the support showed our great culture. So much of this is a credit to our head coach Sutha - who lives and breaths UNSW. A big thank you to Sutha and Tarik who have developed these young players on show today. Hold your heads high fellas - you did your Club proud.”
