Another beautiful morning for our darkest parkrun of the year at Centennial parkrun! It all gets lighter from here 😍☀️🎉

372 runners, joggers, and walkers tore themselves away from the Socceroos match joined us this week ⚽️

There were 60 personal bests recorded - massive congratulations to everyone who pushed themselves and achieved a PB 👏

We also loved welcoming international visitors from the UK and Malaysia, and locally from Cronulla! Today we celebrated a massive achievement for one of our beloved regulars (and only runner in the 85-89 age group 🎉), Werner Matthe, who celebrated his 200th parkrun. Werner, we love seeing your smiling face every (dry) Saturday ☺️

As always, a huge thank you to our 25 incredible volunteers who made the event possible. Your time, energy, and enthusiasm are what keep parkrun running week after week 🧡

A beautiful yet crisp Sydney morning greeted us at Centennial parkrun today! ❄️☀️

✨ We were thrilled to welcome 465 runners, walkers and joggers to the park this morning.
⚡ Congratulations to the 75 participants who achieved a new Personal Best — what a fantastic effort!
🏅 A special shout-out to one of our parkrunners who celebrated their 50 parkrun milestone today.
🌏 It was wonderful to welcome visitors from Christchurch, Coolum, Melbourne, Newcastle and Toowoomba. We hope you enjoyed your morning with us!

A huge thank you to our 24 amazing volunteers who gave up their time to make today’s event possible and ensure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. 🙌
