Winter is here!!! And didn't we know it!!??!! And still 213 participants braved it to get in their trip around the beautiful Lake today. There were a large array of vistitors today form many different places (sorry, there are too many to remember them all!!) Sarah notched up her 50th Milestone this week (congratulations!) and 24 people snatched a PB out there today (well done!!), and we had 24 first timers, of whom 10 are new to parkrun (welcome!! Hope to see you again!!). Our feature photo this morning is Alick, combining his running and dance skills in the one movement. Have an awesome weekend everyone!

It's that time of week again, parkrun eve.... So get down to the lake for your weekly walk. Run or jog around the lake. 7:45 for the first timers welcome, 7:55 for the main briefing. Don't forget your barcode!!

A very still morning greeted us today and 19 people made the most of pacer week gaining themselves a PB on their 5kms around the lake this morning. We had many visitors today which was fantastic to see and 4 people doing parkrun for the first time. Welcome and we hope to see you again next week. Congratulations to Parker, Sara and Tim on their milestones, special mention to Sara who ran a PB on her Milesotne, gaining entry to the Flashmans club. Congrats also to Jesse on volunteer number 10, and Luke on volunteer number 1. Also included today is a pic of Addison running with her security team..... Go Adds.

Woohoo!!! Another week down and here we are on parkrun eve all ready to go for our 5k ritual in the morning. 7:45 for the first timers briefing, 7:55 for the main brief. Its also pacer week, so if you are interested in pacing give us a yell.... we only have one covered so far at 32.5 minutes.

Last week we had a few reports of runners clipping members of the public as they ran past them, so we would like to remind participants to make sure that you keep left when you are running or walking, and if you need to pass someone, pass on their right, and please give them plenty of clearance. We are not to sole users of the park, and we need to be respectful to other members of the public.
