It’s with great sadness the Shepparton Lawn Tennis Club wishes to advise of the recent passing of our first official Tennis Coach, and Club Secretary of 14 years, Howard Ellis.

Howard, an engineer by profession before becoming a school teacher, was a lifelong educator who championed the development of a great number of young people during his time at Shepparton. He is remembered fondly by those whose lives he touched during his time at our club and our thoughts are with his family at this time.

Howard will be remembered at a funeral service on Tuesday 10th of January at 11.00am at the Boyd Chapel, Springvale Botanical Cemetery.
