🖤🤍 SIMPLY AMAZING — and honestly, no other words come close to describing our Club people yesterday! 🤍🖤
A HUGE thank you to every single person who gave their time yesterday to help us cater for the Preliminary Finals — both in the canteen and at our Black & White Bite Van.
When a Club takes on fundraising opportunities like these, we rely on good people putting their hands up, giving their time and lending a hand — all for the ultimate benefit of our Club and everyone who calls it home.
To the parents of our youngest players — you are to be applauded. You are showing our kids what it means to be part of a community and to give back to the Club they love.
And to our young adult players — a massive shout-out to you! You have been raised by selfless people who understand the importance of supporting their community and their Club, and yesterday you showed exactly what that looks like. You are our future leaders. Our future Committee members, volunteers, coaches and Club leaders are sitting amongst those young adults in their late teens and early 20s. What an incredible example you are setting for our younger players — showing them that being part of a Club is about so much more than what happens on the field or court.
And today was another reminder that we are only truly successful when we all put our hands up and help each other.
So, to every single person who helped yesterday — from the early preparation and set-up, the food preparation, serving, running, restocking, cooking, cleaning and everything in between, right through to the late finish — THANK YOU. ❤️
The success of yesterday simply would not have been possible without you.
You gave your time.
You gave up your Saturday.
And most importantly, you gave back to your Club.
