Another Anzac weekend completed at Mallala Motorsport Park in support of the super trucks series. The best show of the year on our racing calender. A weekend full of laughs and full sends on the black top!

As for our results not too much to report. We cooked the motor on the Saturday but still had enough life left to go out and had some fun on Sunday. Held on long enough to blow off some steam and join the rest of the field frying off some rubber 🤙🏼

Thanks to everyone involved keeping the wounded warrior on the track long enough to last the weekend!

Now time for an engine rebuilt and come back out next season and have a crack.

We are loaded ready to head out to our last and favourite event of the season. Mallala!

If you are looking for anything to do this weekend come out and say Gday and watch us rip up the black top with 15 other competitors in support of the super trucks!

Australian title recap.

Thursday had 1 round of practice and came in due to engine issues. Suspected that it was a head gasket we pulled it down and replaced pretty much everything we could to try and fix the issue.

Massive shoutout to those involved in the repairs. Phil Ayden, Zac, David, Flatty, Josh and everyone else. Legends. Also Buey, David and the merretts for the spare parts.

Friday had 3 rounds of heats.

Heat 1: P7 > P8 still struggling with the engine having a plug lead coming off.
Heat 2: P2 > DNF, came off with 4 laps to go due to the bonnet flying up and covering my vision..
Heat 3: P4 > P4 held our line and just wanted to finish night 1 with some sort of consistency

Saturday night 1 heat and a final.

Heat 4: P11 > P9 got back a little confidence and the car somewhat holding itself together we made a couple spots in the final heat.

Qualified 9th in C main 2 we made up a few spots and came home 6th. Wouldn’t have been possible without the awesome people around us helping when they could and especially Ayden who crewed for me all weekend. Cannot thank everyone enough and to my sponsors as well for the constant support!

Congratulations to Nathan on a 3peat in the mighty Magna and Twin brother heath making it Thorne A1 and A2. Well deserved.
