We had a team of four lifters compete at the TSF 9th Birthday Bash over the weekend.
Jessie first started training with us in the beginner barbell club back in 2021 and she finally made her platform debut this week! She was beaming ear to ear all day and carried herself so beautifully. With a challenging few months leading up to the competition day, she still strung together very consistent training and pulled off a 9/9 day with equal PBs across the board.
Megan came to us via the barbell club in 2024. Watching her find love for powerlifting has been such a joy. She entirely trains on her own terms, and with unwavering consistency over the last two years the strength gains have been steadily piling on. Her second competition in just four months, 8/9 and big PBs across all three lifts.
Chloe began powerlifting online with Billie back in 2020 and also made her platform debut this week, six years in. Itβs been a long journey of growth and learning to get there and to see her having the time of her life on the day was a total joy. 8/9, and big squat and deadlift PBs. Admittedly the highlight of the day may have been that failed bench press attempt.
Rory came in to powerlifting in his 50βs and witnessing him become the strongest he has ever been has been just unreal. His second comp of the year by only April, heβs got a hunger in him to improve and we are so eager to see the growth to come. He chipped PBs on all three lifts since his last competition in January and has his eyes now on the nationals qualifying totals.
How good. ππ€©
