Maribyrnong Aquatic Centre Visit us today. MAC's 50metre pool is converted to two 25 metre pools during Victorian school terms to allow for Programs and public access.

Maribyrnong Aquatic Centre (MAC) is the City of Maribyrnong's premier fitness & aquatic centre and is focused on supporting schools, clubs and community groups. Maribyrnong Aquatic Centre (MAC) is a fantastic Community Health, Fitness & Aquatic Centre providing a state of the art fully equipped health club, group fitness studio, childcare, 50 metre pool, leisure pool, warm water rehabilitation pool and Spa, Steam, and Sauna. The pool is at 25 metres Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 8:30pm, Friday 8:30am - 10:15pm and all opening hours on weekends. The pool will remain at 50 metres on school holidays and public holidays. Maribyrnong Aquatic Centre reserves the right to delete any comments that are deemed inappropriate. Comments including, but not limited to, the following may be deleted by the moderators:
• Comments that contain abusive, hurtful or inappropriate language or statements (for example, but not limited to, comments that are discriminatory on the basis of race, gender, religion, national origin, age, or disability, as well as those that contain profanity, are sexually explicit, lewd, provocative, or that describe graphic violence or lawlessness)

🔧 Please note: This upcoming Thursday 24 September the spa, warm water pool, steam room and sauna will be unavailable until 9am while assessment works are carried out in the area.

These temporary closures are required to allow the works to be completed safely 👷‍♂️. All other areas of the centre will remain open as usual, and the affected facilities will reopen from 9am.

🌙 Women's Swim Night at MAC 🌙

Take some time for yourself and enjoy a relaxing Sunday evening at MAC's Women's Swim Night.

Women and girls of all ages are welcome to swim, exercise and socialise in a comfortable women-only environment. Enjoy access to the lap pool, leisure pool, warm water exercise pool, spa, sauna and steam room, with no booking required.

Women's Swim Night runs from 6:30pm on selected Sunday evenings.

Eligible Victorian families can apply for up to $200 per child to help with the cost of sport and active recreation activities. Applications close at 10am on 13 October 2026, or earlier if funding is exhausted.
If your family has a Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card, you may be eligible.

During the installation, diversionary signage has been placed to guide visitors to our temporary entrance. Please enter via the side door located to the left of the main entrance.

The Maribyrnong Aquatic Centre Leisure Pool is closing from Sunday 20 September for urgent repairs.

The Leisure Pool at the MAC has a significant leak that must be repaired to reduce the risk of more costly future repairs and allow work on the new Splash Park to continue.

Following a series of investigations and attempts to repair the leak, the Leisure Pool will close for six weeks to start with. The 50m Pool, Warm Water Pool and Spa will remain open.

Once the pool is drained, we will have a better understanding of the leaks and how long they will take to fix.

During the Leisure Pool closure the MAC team are adjusting lesson timetables to make sure we can keep running our regular programs, however there will be changes to how some lessons are run.

MAC Members will be receiving emails with more information about how their classes will change during these works.

We’re doing everything we can to repair this leak as fast as possible.
