Barry Saunders and Simon Le-Chalmers, who owned the franchise's for Viva Soccer Gold Coast North and Viva Soccer Northern NSW, are both now, through a mutual agreement with Viva Soccer, running these regional areas as independent coaches allowing viva Soccer to concentrate on Metro areas. Barry and Simon believe that with coach and parent support, we set small bite-size goals for young players wit

h a developmental focus on trying to improve performance gradually and in small increments. Through our programs we provide a safe, fun and structured environment where children can learn at their own pace from our foundation grassroots programs up to aspiring young talented players. All our coaches are FFA qualified, have current working with children checks and all coaches that run their own program must hold a current First Aid certificate. All our programs are designed and support the initiatives set out by Football Federation Australia with the key coaching points being followed:

* Football is being played
* Football is being learned and therefore taught
* Football is being experienced and enjoyed
* Players understand the football purpose of the exercise
* Players recognise the game-related intention
* Players are challenged to improve both individually and as a group

UPCOMING SIBA SOCCER WORLD CUP HOLIDAY PROGRAMS

Following the continued success of our SIBA Soccer Holiday programs at the club , we are pleased to announce that we shall be running 2 x World cup holiday soccer programs at Coomera Football Club:

3 X DAY WORLD CUP HOLIDAY PROGRAM # 1:
Dates: - Tuesday 30th June - Thursday 2nd July 2026
Time: 9.00am – 12.00pm (each day)
Ages: 5 – 12 years old
Cost: - $140.00 for 3 day Program (or $55 a day)
Venue: Coomera Football Club, Yaun St , Coomera

PROGRAM CONTENT
These Programs consist of fun warm up games, learning ball mastery skills, passing/shoot on goal activities, 1v1, 2v2 and other small sided games, as well as enjoying the experience of playing inside our inflatable Soccer arena!
Also running our kids favourite games - 'soccer baseball" & 'mini world cup competition'

**STARTING THIS COMING WEDNESDAY **
Following the success of our after school programs at the school since 2011, again in partnership with Coomera Rivers State School we will now be running the following After School Soccer Program for both boys and girls in Term 2:

Starts: Wednesday 29th April 2026
Duration: 8 Week program (Every Wednesday)
Time: 2.45pm – 3.45pm
Ages: 5 – 12 years old(Prep-Grade 6)
Cost: $140.00
Venue: Main School Field, Coomera Rivers State School
Please Bring: Drink bottle, appropriate footwear
(We also advise wearing shinpads)

This program is a fun, safe and structured one hour after school program held at various schools and Colleges designed for school students to learn the fundamental skills of football in the comfort of their own school. It consists of fun warm up games, ball skills, passing/shoot on goal activities 1v1 & 2v2 games as well as other small sided team games

Following the success of our skills programs at the club, we are pleased to inform you that we will be running the following Term 2 skills programs for specific Age Groups

PROGRAM CONTENT
The content of these sessions is based on various skill-based topics, 1v1 and 2v2 games. The emphasis of this particular program is to improve and sustain a good level of ball control, as well as improving game-sense awareness. This program is often a great way for current or potential club players to top up their skills, knowledge and confidence in the game.

Starts: Wednesday 29th April 2026
Times & Age groups: 4.25pm- 5.25pm (5-7yr olds)
4.25pm- 5.25pm (8-12 yr olds)
Duration: 8 Weeks (Every WEDNESDAY)
Cost: $140.00 (for the 8 week program)
