GRAND FINAL WRAP UP 🏆

What a weekend. So proud of all three teams 🐝

Our U14 GLT girls kicked things off with a nail bitter. It was such a close game that was sent into golden point extra time. The girls were persistent and came away with a thrilling win. A remarkable season, undefeated. Congrats.

Our U13 Green boys put in a stellar effort. Down on the scoreboard coming into the last quarter of the game the boys dug deep coming within 2 points of Bilambil. The effort was huge but sadly the end result not the way we wanted it. Back next year to go again lads.

Then came our U14 Green team. And what a team. Another year undefeated with a convincing win 20-6. You definitely fired in the second half to run away with the win. Amazing effort!

Whilst the victories are great, Grand Finals are also rich in support, family and community which is almost more important than the result. And this little summary from our 2026 Grand Finals encapsulates all that and more 🐝

Applications to trial for the 2027 Northern Rivers Titans Andrew Johns U16 & Laurie Daley U18 Academies are now open.

Andrew Johns U16 ( must be turning 16 in 2027).
Laurie Daley U18 (must be turning 17 or 18 in 2027).

Applications close 5pm Friday 18th September 2026.

If you will be still serving a suspension when the trials take place, you will need to email [email protected] for further information
We expect all players that are successful to be 100% committed to the program. It will be made very clear prior to trials that if you are selected and do not commit then you will be released from the program.

RLNR By-Law: Adopted 27 May 2025

Junior Representative selection
A player must have played in a RLNR member competition for 2 years preceding the upcoming rep season to be eligible to trial for Northern Rivers Titans Andrew Johns, Laurie Daley and Lisa Fiaola competitions.
Example, a player must have played U14’s and U15’s, or U16’s and U18’s in a RLNR member competition to be eligible for Andrew Johns or Laurie Daley selection and U15’s and U17’s for Lisa Fiaola selection. Players may, from time to time, be given approval to trial if they have not played for the 2 years preceding as outlined, under exceptional circumstances. This may be, but not limited to, having moved to the area with proof of residential address in the RLNR area or are a returning junior to the area. Definition of a returning junior would be a player who has played a majority of seasons with a club in RLNR region.

• This by-law is effective from 2026 trials for 2027 Rep season

Our first GLT team to make a Grand Final 🙌🏼

It’s been a welcome return for U14 GLT in 2026. We didn’t have a team in this age group last year and this year have grown to a healthy squad of 20 players, whom now find themselves in the Big Dance.

This team is young, but mighty. We wish you all the best on Friday Night and can’t wait to see you all shine 💫
