This week we lost one of our own. Our whole community is reeling.
Paul touched so many lives, and the squash community was fortunate to be one of the places he called home. Whether he was on the court or dropping in to watch the boys play, it was always great to see him. We were all looking forward to seeing him back next season, especially after Tait rescued his old racket from the dump shop for 50 cents—a story that brought plenty of laughs.
Paul's kindness, humour, and genuine interest in others made him someone people enjoyed being around. I always appreciated our chats, and I know many others did too.
Our thoughts are with Paul's family and friends during this incredibly difficult time. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all of us at the Gympie Squash courts.
A GoFundMe page has been set up to support Jenny and the girls. Every little bit helps. ❤️
