If you can spare an hour or two, we’d appreciate any help getting the grounds ready before we start shooting.

🎯 APEX STATE TITLE – WHAT A WEEKEND! 🎯

Another successful 2-day event planned and delivered by our small but mighty committee 💪 We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved and excited for what’s ahead!

We welcomed 65 shooters to the grounds and saw some top-quality shooting across the board 👏 With 11 prize categories, there was plenty on the line and some well-deserved winners!

📣 GYMPIE SPORTING CLAYS – STATE TITLE UPDATE

Still time to jump in – we’ve got spots available, so get your nominations in now!

🔹 Early Start Approved
We have received council approval for an earlier start, with shooting commencing from 8:30am sharp

🔹 Squad Start & Flow
First 3 squads will be shooting from 8:30am
Squads 4–6, please be ready and positioned as follows:
• Squad 4 → behind Squad 1
• Squad 5 → behind Squad 2
• Squad 6 → behind Squad 3

As squads move through, the next squads must follow in order:
• Squad 7 → behind Squad 4
• Squad 8 → behind Squad 5
• Squad 9 → behind Squad 6
(And so on)

👉 Important: Always have the next squad ready to step in to keep things flowing smoothly.

🔹 Helping Hands
Each upcoming squad will need to supply:
✔️ 1 scorer
✔️ 1 trapper
Your help keeps the day running on time 🙌

🔹 Ground Rotation
We are running 3 grounds, shooting 75 targets per day
Once all squads have completed the first ground, we will rotate to the next ground

🔹 Check-In
All shooters must be checked in before 8:00am – no exceptions

🔹 What’s On Offer
• Canteen open all weekend
• Breakfast from 6:30am both days 🍳☕

This weekend marks the first qualifying shoot for the Lucas Family Bursary — an incredible opportunity made possible by an incredibly generous family, helping one junior shooter chase their World Championship dream.

⚠️ DINNER UPDATE – APEX STATE TITLE WEEKEND ⚠️

Unfortunately, due to low RSVP numbers, we will no longer be going ahead with the Saturday night dinner.

🍳 Our canteen will still remain open all weekend, serving breakfast and lunch.

For those planning on camping, if you haven’t already let us know, please reach out so we can keep track of numbers 🏕

If you’re still looking for a meal option, there is a pub just 2 minutes down the road that offers great meals 🍽
