Congratulations to our Mighty Gold Fins Masters Swim Team who completed at the MSQ Queensland Championships at the Brisbane Aquatic Centre.
The team of 13 swimmers competed in 149 events over 4 days scoring a combined total of a massive 1391 points! The team also claimed:

85 Gold medals 🥇
47 Silver Medals 🥈
10 Bronze Medals 🥉

3 Individual National Records
21 Individual Qld branch Records
2 Qld branch relay records

The team of only 13 members also claimed 3rd on the overall club points trophy 🏆 🤩
Super effort team 👏👏

Congratulations to our Gold Fins Masters Swim Team putting up a great performance as a team against some super strong, stacked competition at the Premier League Swimming PLS-5 progressive knockout tournament last week in Brisbane! Congratulations Shelley 🥈👏🏼

Congratulations to Shelley Devers our masters ladies club captain on claiming 2nd in the ladies 35 to 39 years 50m Breaststroke at the 2023 World Aquatics Masters Swimming Championships in Japan! Shelley also broke her own MSQ Queensland masters record.

Our masters team has been a little busy of late with the team traveling to the belgravia long distance long course meet, with events like 800m butterfly and 1500m breaststroke at this carnival it was a great opportunity for our distance swimmers to have a crack!

There was some great swims by Matt, David, Shelley, Jennie and Justin.
Justin Giles smashed out and insanely fast 1500m breaststroke and in doing so not only broke the 1500m 35-39 years Australian & QLD Masters record but also broke the 800m Australian & QLD Masters record in the split in the same race 🤯🤯
Jennie, Matt and David also impressed with huge personal best performances in their swims 👏🏼👏🏼
