It IS super common, but common doesnโ€™t always mean normal.

A physiotherapist who specialises in Womenโ€™s Health and/or Pelvic Floor health can help. Investing in a visit or two can allow you to get an assessment on your pelvic floor function (via internal exam or ultrasound exam) and they can then prescribe you exercises to improve your pelvic floor function.

In the gym (classes and SPPT) we teach pelvic floor activations and expansion/ relaxation exercises to help you (men & women) understand and connect to your pelvic floor and start working towards โ€œnormalโ€ function.

Incontinence can be one of the first signs of pelvic floor dysfunction which can impact SO many areas of your life - we want to help you catch it early and work towards a healthy pelvic floor!!๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ’š

BEEF, ZUCCHINI & QUINOA

Serves: 8

โœณ๏ธ WHAT YOU NEED
๐ŸŸข 1 zucchini, grated
๐ŸŸข 14 oz. (400g) lean ground beef
๐ŸŸข 6.5 oz. (185g) cooked quinoa
๐ŸŸข 2 cloves garlic, minced
๐ŸŸข 1 egg, beaten

โœณ๏ธ WHAT YOU NEED TO DO
Grate and squeeze the zucchini to remove moisture.

Mix the zucchini with beef, quinoa, garlic, egg, salt, and pepper in a bowl.

Form into 8 patties.

Cook in a hot, oiled grill pan for 5-6 minutes per side.

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days.

We offer such a variety of training for various reasons, one of them being that we want to offer something that all of our clients enjoy (because exercise doesnโ€™t have to be a chore) HOWEVER we still encourage our clients to do the sessions that they find hard and donโ€™t enjoy. Because so often, thatโ€™s where the most growth lies.

And if thatโ€™s not reason enough, I think Dr Huberman makes a great case here for doing hard things you donโ€™t enjoy! It is quite literally the key to a resilient brain (like a physically resilient brain!)๐Ÿง ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ
