For a while, isolating myself felt like the answer.
I told myself I was an introvert, that I didnât need group classes, running clubs, or a fitness community. That Iâd finally figured out who I was.
It felt safe. Comfortable, even.
What I didnât realize was that I was slowly losing connection with people - and getting lonelier without noticing it happening.
Then it started showing up everywhere. I was less happy. Nothing felt satisfying anymore, even when my training and programming were going well.
Turns out âsafeâ and âgood for meâ arenât always the same thing.
