Unfortunately our temporary close is still in effect for the 24/25 summer season in Busselton. We are awaiting the detailed plans of the jetty development and our involvement in its future. After reassessing our operational procedures with the Busselton Jetty, we hope to be operating again soon.

⚠️ WE ARE NOT OPERATING THE 2023/24 SUMMER SEASON ⚠️

As we come towards our summer season, a reminder that we are not operating this summer due to operational restrictions. It's important to note the Busselton Jetty is still open and you're still able to dive and snorkel off it, just sadly not with our company.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you. We hope to be back operational with a new space in December 2024 to take you on a dive under the famous Busselton Jetty!

It's important to note, that although we are closed, the Busselton Jetty is still open for business! The underwater sculpture trail is up and looking amazing!

Our team is so disappointed to inform you that we will not be operating diving or undersea walks under the iconic Busselton Jetty this 2023-24 Summer Season due to ongoing changes to the design and operation of developments of the Busselton Jetty*.

Excitingly, we will be back bigger and better than ever, in a new and improved operation, at the start of the 2024-25 Summer Season. Our team would LOVE to take you for a wonder wander underwater or a TRY dive or SCUBA dive beneath the deep end of the Busselton Jetty, just 1.8kms out to sea, soon!

A plan to put sculptures underwater at the Busselton Jetty is going swimmingly!

The first of the art has started to arrive at the jetty.

13 sculptures will be sunk around the jetty in coming months to make an underwater dive and snorkel trail.

It’s hoped the initiative will attract visitors (and marine life) to the world-renowned jetty.

This 3m steel fish took artist Scott Michell about 300 hours to complete 😮

❗ Busselton Jetty Safety Reminder - Blue Ring Octopus ❗

Although the busy season is behind us we would still like to ask all visitors to stay vigilant of their surroundings when on or below the Jetty. 🐙

Sightings of dangerous Blue Ring Octopus have been reported in recent weeks.
Blue Ring Octopus are very small, less than 10cm from te****le tip to tip and can be found inside dead shells, discarded bottles/cans and on submerged ropes and ladders.

They're usually a shy creature, however they will bite if threatened and injected toxins can be fatal. Do not pick up shells and please take care when collecting litter!

If you see a Blue Ring Octopus please report it to Jetty Staff and in the unfortunate event you're bitten by one, call 000 asap. 🚑

A blossoming love 🥰 Our photographer captured a tender moment last summer as two octopi begin their courtship. The male will approach the female, she will fend him off for a bit, but usually accepts him after a while. During mating, the male will insert one of his te****les into the females mantle cavity and deposit s***m packets. The tenderness wont last long though - did you know that some species of female octopus will bite their mates head off after mating.
