Get down to Family Fresh Butchers tomorrow, Saturday 6th of June between 8:30am - 2pm and grab a snag to support Harrison, an Aspendale local.

The St Louis school staff and community are fundraising for Harrison, son of our beautiful colleague and friend Anna and her husband Mark.

Harrison, a Year 11 student at St Bede’s Mentone, has had his whole world turned upside down after what was supposed to be a fun night out with friends resulted in a tragic accident.

The BBQ will be held at Family Fresh Butchers in Chelsea from 8:30am - 2pm on Saturday 6th June.

All funds will go directly to Harrison's ongoing care.

Mentally Fit Men is a free community event where local men can come together for honest conversations about mental health, resilience, stress, relationships, purpose, and overall wellbeing.

This isn't about sitting through a lecture. It's about creating a space where men can connect, share experiences, learn practical strategies, and realise they're not alone in the challenges they face.

Whether you're doing great, going through a tough time, or simply interested in becoming the best version of yourself, you're welcome.

As National Volunteer Week 2026 comes to a close, we want to say thank you to every one of our volunteers!

Thank you for the early mornings, the long patrol hours, the training sessions, the rescues, the community spirit, and the countless moments of service that help keep our beaches safe and educate the next generation of life savers.

To our patrollers, trainers, coaches, age managers, committee members, sausage turners, sauce squirters and everyone else who helps play their part! Thank you for everything you do, this week and every week 👏

Today we lowered the flags and marked the end of the 2025/26 patrol season.

On behalf of the club and Aspendale community we say a huge thank you to everyone of our patrol members for your commitment and effort throughout the season.

Together, we delivered an incredible 2,222.68 patrol hours 👏 – a massive contribution to keeping our beach safe.

Congratulations to all members who:
• Gained new awards this season 🎓
• Represented the club in competition 🏊‍♂️

Your efforts both on and off the beach are a credit to Aspendale.
