Bike shop in Virginia Beach with over 21 years of Legacy serving the local community. But don't let our relaxed atmosphere fool you.

🚴‍♂️ Your Local Family-Owned Bike Shop

Once known as "Fat Frogs," our journey began back in April 2002 when Joe Vizi first opened our doors. Over the years, we’ve seen many seasons and faces, but our core mission remains the same: celebrating the joy and freedom of New Bike Day. In April 2023, Joe passed the torch to his daughter Nina and son-in-law Chuck, marking the beginning of a new era as Freedom Bike Works. We've kept our laid-back, family-friendly vibe while embracing necessary changes to stay ahead. We're more than just a local bike shop; we’re a community hub where coffee, bagels, and bike talk flow freely. We're serious about offering top-notch services and the finest bike brands.

🔧 Our Services:

Expert Tune-Ups: Ready to roll for endless joy rides. Repairs & Adjustments: From flat fixes to brake tweaks. Overhauls/Rebuilds: Comprehensive care for a smoother ride. Wheel Truing: For those wobbly moments. Specialty Services: Tubeless setups, electronic shifting adjustments, and more. We're not just a shop; we're a part of your cycling journey, offering the freedom and joy that only a perfectly tuned bike can provide. So, whether you're in for a new ride or need some love for your current one, we're here to keep your wheels spinning smoothly into the future. Freedom Bike Works: Riding with you, every pedal of the way.
