We are three days out from the CCTT 2026 and the weather should be perfect. We’re looking for volunteers to join our "behind-the-scenes" crew to help as Course Marshals and Time Keepers from 0900 to 1200. We'll supply bagels and coffee and your help will be greatly appreciated! If you’re free this Saturday, we’d love your help. Message us for more info or tag a friend who might be interested!

Registration for the May 9, 2026 Conquer the Canal Time Trial is live on Bikereg.com. We will continue with the format of running the individual TT followed by the Team TT. Medals and trophies have already been purchased for the winners. We will have cash payout for select categories. A huge thanks to our sponsors, Freedom Bike Works and Kinum.

All riders are welcome. There is a family discount so there is no excuse to not drag yourself off the couch. Mom and dad can ride alongside their young-ones. We have a beach cruiser category for those who appreciate comfort over speed.

In 2025, the TTT was the most competetive event. The first and fourth team’s times were separated by only 23 seconds. Due to penalties, the gap was reduced with a team losing and gold and another moving off the podium.

Rumor has it that Tadej and WVA are sitting out the 2026 Giro to race the CCTT.

This is one of the climbs from the Cottage of Wattage, Freedom Bike Works Velo’s offseason training camp location, to the Blue Ridge Park Way, Augusta County, VA.

This is the Love Gap Ascent to the Blue Ridge Parkway. It's 4.2 miles with an average grade of 6.2% but has ramps at 9%.
