Fluent Motions Parkour is a movement-based gym in Spokane built around helping kids and families grow stronger, more confident, and more capable, both physically and mentally. I started Fluent Motions because I believe movement should be empowering, not intimidating. Parkour gives kids a chance to problem-solve, build resilience, and learn how to trust their bodies in a safe, structured environmen

t. Our classes focus on strength, coordination, creativity, and confidence, and we meet each student where they’re at. Whether a student is brand new to movement or working on advanced skills, progress is always encouraged at their own pace. Classes are intentionally kept small, so every student gets real coaching, support, and encouragement. We work with ages 3 through adults and offer weekly classes, private lessons, camps, birthday parties, and monthly Parent’s Night Out events. More than anything, Fluent Motions is about community, creating a space where kids feel supported, parents feel welcome, and everyone feels like they belong. Parkour is what we teach, but building confident humans and a strong community is the real goal.

A little honesty from me today.

When we moved Fluent Motions into our larger facility, I truly believed it would give us the space to create something special for our students and our community. It has, but it also came with much higher expenses than I expected.

Now that summer is here, we're seeing what many youth programs experience: families traveling, attending camps, and participating in seasonal activities. The challenge is that we're currently losing students faster than we're bringing new ones in.

I know many of you would love to see more obstacles, new equipment, and additions to the gym. Trust me want those things too. But right now, our focus is making sure Fluent Motions stays strong through the summer so we can continue serving the kids and families who call this place home.

So I'd like to ask for your help.

This gym has never been just a business to me. It's a place where kids build confidence, learn resilience, make friends, and discover they're capable of more than they thought possible.

What an awesome weekend! 🎱

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and supported our fundraiser tournament for Fluent Motions Parkour at Legacy Billiards Bar And Grill . Because of your support, we were able to raise $260 that will go directly toward helping youth athletes participate in classes, camps, and events, as well as continuing to improve the gym for our students.

Thank you to Legacy Billiards (and Steve Rijon) for hosting us and providing such a great venue. We couldn't have done it without your support and partnership.

Thank you to Aundria, and Brett who lead the planning, and ran the event. Events like this take a lot of work, and I appreciate everyone who stepped up to help the gym!

And of course, thank you to all of the players who came out, competed, and helped make the tournament a success. Whether you took home money or not, you helped support an amazing cause.

Bar balancing looks simple… until you try it.

A narrow surface.
Full body control.
Focus.
Commitment.
The courage to trust yourself and land.

And jumping to a bar with your feet? That takes timing, balance, body awareness, and confidence built through real coaching and practice.

These aren’t just for photos.

They’re moments where kids learn to stay calm, problem solve, take calculated risks, and discover what they’re capable of.

FREE FAMILY PARKOUR COMMUNITY DAY

At Fluent Motions Parkour, we've always believed parkour is about more than learning skills and overcoming obstacles. It's about building confidence, creating friendships, and giving people a place where they feel welcome.

That's why we're excited to open our doors for a FREE Community Day this summer.

Saturday, June 27th
12:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Fluent Motions Parkour
5408 N. Freya St., Spokane

Bring the whole family and come see what we're all about. Whether you've never stepped foot in a parkour gym or you've been following us for years, we'd love to have you join us.

Throughout the day, you'll be able to explore the gym, try beginner-friendly parkour activities, meet our coaches, watch demonstrations, ask questions about classes, and connect with other families in the community.

This event is completely FREE and open to the public.

Please bring clean, inside-only athletic shoes for inside the gym floor. Rental shoes will be available for $5 if needed.

We'll also have a limited number of special enrollment discounts available for families who decide to join during the event.

VENDORS WANTED

We're offering 15 FREE 10' x 10' vendor spaces for local businesses, nonprofits, service providers, artists, and family-friendly organizations.

Vendor spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

🏃 FREE HOMESCHOOL PARKOUR COMMUNITY DAY 🏃

Homeschool families this one is for you.

On Friday June 26th at 10 A.M. we're opening up Fluent Motions for a FREE one-hour homeschool parkour experience.

This isn't just about trying obstacles or learning a few tricks. One of the biggest things we've built over the years is community. Kids getting off screens, moving, making friends, building confidence and having a place they genuinely look forward to being part of.

Families will get a chance to explore the gym, learn some basic parkour, play, move and get a feel for what our community is all about.

I finally repainted Medusa!

This obstacle has been around basically since day one and is named after one of our favorite parkour games. Felt good giving it a fresh look while keeping the history behind it.

Our other original block "Trill" is next!

Lots of painting to be done but slowly putting more of a personality to our equipment!
