Bring your knitting, crochet, embroidery, needlepoint, weaving, spinning, or any portable fiber arts project and join fellow crafters for conversation, community, and creativity.

Yarn Yentas is a relaxed social meetup where friendships are woven one stitch at a time. Whether you're working on your very first scarf or your fiftieth sweater, you'll find a welcoming circle ready to chat, laugh, and create together.

No lessons. No pressure. Just good company and great conversation.

🌿 Another reason our Voted Best Preschool is pretty naturally awesome!

We’re proud to share that the Dora L. Lewis Family & Child Development Center has once again earned Nature Explore recertification!

From digging in the garden and getting messy in the mud kitchen to growing food, exploring the woods and learning through hands-on outdoor play, nature is truly part of the classroom here. Our children help plant, care for and harvest from our gardens while building curiosity, confidence and a love for the world around them.

A big shoutout to Tarneshia Evans, Director of Education, whose leadership and hard work helped document the many thoughtful ways our teachers bring nature-based learning to life every day.

Voted Best. Nature Explore certified. And always growing. 🌱💚

At 106 years old, Amy Krumbein began a remarkable new chapter as an artist—and what has emerged is a vibrant body of work full of curiosity, experimentation, and bold expression.

Over the past three years, Amy has worked alongside local artist and educator Hannah Jones, exploring color, movement, texture, and the freedom of improvisation. The result is an inspiring collection that reminds us that creativity has no age limit.

Join us at the Sara D. November Art Gallery at the Weinstein JCC to celebrate Amy, her artistic journey, and the joy of making art.

Labor Day weekend calls for one more pool party!

Join your Weinstein JCC community at Camp Hilbert on Sunday, September 6, for an afternoon of swimming, music, food and end-of-summer fun.

Bring the family, soak up the sunshine, and celebrate the long weekend with us! Members can enjoy hot dogs fresh off the grill while DJ tunes keep the party going.

Planning to visit the JCC on Monday? Remember that we’ll have modified holiday hours from 7 AM-3 PM and a modified group fitness schedule on September 7.

We hope to see you at the pool and wish you a fun and safe Labor Day weekend!
