⚠️Pool House Temporarily Closed⚠️
To our PAC family, we have some difficult news to share regarding the pool house.
As some of our members know, we have previously signed with a local roofing company to repair the pool house roof in the fall. We have also been working closely with the local Fire Marshal office for inspection and submitting engineering reports, to ensure our members' safety.
After a recent structural engineer's letter of recommendation; today the Fire Marshal instructed us to immediately shut down access to the pool house due to concerns involving structural soundness of the roof. While this is incredibly heartbreaking for us, the safety of our members, families, and staff will always come first. The engineer letter summarized:
"The roof should be able to support its own weight and the current loads of the roof, but if a roof wind load or snow load was introduced, these deteriorated roof members could collapse."
As many of you know, we have previously shut down the pool house during snow and severe storms as a precaution because of the condition of the roof. However, the Fire Marshal and the Kentucky licensed engineering firm have now deemed the risk too great for continued operation.
We originally planned to replace and repair the roof this fall, and over the past several months we have been saving every extra dollar possible toward that goal. In fact, much of our Premium Membership income has allowed us to directly prepare for this project. We are now working to see if these repairs can happen sooner, and we promise to keep everyone updated every step of the way.
We know this news is frustrating and disappointing, especially heading into summer. Please know this hurts us deeply, too. The pool house means so much to our community, and seeing it temporarily closed is something we never wanted.
We also want to be transparent with everyone: summer is historically our slowest season. Many people are travelling, enjoying outdoor activities, or stepping away from the gym routine for a while. Right now, more than ever, we truly need our community to stay united and continue supporting the PAC, if you are able. Every membership, every check-in, every shared post, and every bit of support help us get closer to saving and restoring the pool house roof.
We are already working on a plan for our members during this time and will communicate updates as quickly as possible. The saunas will be open 24/7 now!
Our sincerest apologies go out to our kiddos who have pool parties scheduled! We know this is disappointing, especially with birthdays and family plans involved. We truly hate having to do this and wish this situation was different. Our team will be in touch soon with a solution!
Please don't give up on us yet. The PAC has always been built by this community, sticking together through hard seasons, and we believe we can get through this one too!
Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support of the Wolf PAC family.

In hopes of keeping our cup half full, for we've included a few photos from the original 1997 PAC construction. A nice reminder of how far this place has come and what this community has built together over the years. We were built by the Paducah community, with intentions of bringing a safe and healthy environment for our Paducah residents!
